Very nice place. Warm and inviting. Menu is a bit limited and pricey, but the food is delicious. Nice to sit at the bar as well and have a snack and a drink and watch the big screen. The service at this spot is very good, they are customer focused for sure.

Came in for breakfast and ordered the pancakes with berries. After a long leisurely wait that gave me time to reflect on my life choices, the pancakes arrived looking quite nice and tasting good. The berries, however, consisted of half a strawberry, cut in two. A bold interpretation of the plural.

To expensive $$$$$ for a low quality breakfast! Buffet is better at holiday inn!! Seriously over priced for low quality food. Cook needs to learn how to make bacon (it was oily and raw) . Service wasn't great. Overall will not be staying at the Lord Elgin hotel or eating at their restaurant. Poorly managed.

Had breakfast on a Sunday morning. Very convenient location. Service was excellent and food was very good. Would definitely recommend if visiting downtown Ottawa. Especially if staying at the Lord Elgin

We always come for dinner before seeing shows at the NAC. It never fails to impress. I like the way they change up their menu seasonally, and that they use local meat and produce.

See you before Moulin Rouge in March!

Extremely disappointing from beginning to end. Extremely overpriced for quality/selection offered. Service for drinks took easy 15 minutes. Buffet was cramped. Nothing was hot. Save your hard earned money and go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience. Friendly greeting as soon as I walked up. Very clean environment. The breakfast buffet looked good but I went with the eggs benedict. I get this all across Canada, this one was fantastic. The carmalized bacon is fantastic. Eggs cooked perfectly (soft). Since I was staying in the hotel, I had the eggs two days in a row.

A good option for a meal in Lord Elgin. The chicken burger was decent.

A decent place with a good atmosphere for a hotel restaurant / bar. Food was certainly above expectations despite being a little pricey. Happy to know they support craft breweries with their tap selection. A nice place to go after a long travel day if you want to stay within the hotel and out of the cold!

Visited FortyOne Restaurant in Ottawa and had such a lovely experience. The food was genuinely good, the drinks were amazing, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The place has a peaceful ambience that makes you want to sit back and just enjoy the evening.

The live music added the perfect touch to the atmosphere - not too loud, not too soft, just right. Overall, a really enjoyable spot to relax, eat, and unwind. Definitely worth a visit!

I always enjoy having a meal at this pretty restaurant. Not the first time and we will definitely be going back.

Dinner service was outstanding, but breakfast was a completely different story. The service in the morning is honestly unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. The waitress reacted rudely when we simply asked for more water or coffee, and the captain/supervisor was nowhere to be found zero availability just for a simple question.

The contrast between dinner and breakfast is shocking. The food itself is fine, but the morning staff’s attitude completely ruins the experience. A hotel restaurant should never make guests feel uncomfortable for asking basic things.
Congratulations for the dinner staff , we will come back for visit them another time.
