Ethiopian cuisine, it was my second time going to that restaurant, first time was in 2018. I loved it then, was even better this time. Pretty unique experience for me. They improved the dinning room since last time.
Significant degradation since my last visit. Even the kitfo was meh, and they removed the option to have it served raw as is traditional. Will be heading to the Blue Nile next time.
I find that as much as independent local restaurants want to evoke the feel of family, Habesha represents this better than most. Top 10 and I rate a lot of places from all over my travels. Not just because the sharing plates, the dive-in attitude being cutlery-free but each serving was deeply enjoyable. If it wasn't for the fear of missing the opportunity of getting my share, I would have let each mouthful stay with me longer. A six hour drive today was topped off with family...
