“I wish this place, with its great location and atmosphere, had better service. My partner and I were excited to stop by for a coffee and a chat, but the experience was disappointing. We ordered, only to be told by the staff afterward that we had just 10 minutes before closing. Unfortunately, we weren’t informed of this before placing our order, and when we asked to cancel, the only option they gave us was to take our drinks to go. There’s a small sign indicating the hours, but if you miss it, they won’t mention it before taking your order. I felt this lack of communication was worth sharing.”

Coffee was good though they didn’t have much of anything to eat. What they did have was very small portions and fairly expensive considering the quality.
It was still a decent place to to get some work done.

Unfriendly to tea drinkers! My wife and I like Happy Goat EXCEPT for their tea. They have one black tea called Signature Black which is beyond WEAK. Even with 3 tea bags, my wife’s tea looked and tasted VERY weak. She initially had one tea bag, asked for a 2nd bad and was charged $3.75!! The 2nd bag made no real difference nor did the 3rd bag which was “free” after paying a total of $7.00 for one tea….outrageious. As usual, my cappuccino was fine. The staff were super friendly but did confirm that others have complained about weak black tea and that managers have done nothing. In fact, the amount of tea per tea bag has been reduced. Not that would have made much difference. The Signature Black tea is not even remotely as good as almost any breakfast tea. I suggested they switch to Stash teas but I am not holding my breath. $3.75 is more than enough to cover a good quality tea which is not demanding of staff time. I can only conclude that tea drinkers are ripped off and management could care less.

I went for the first time with a couple of friends to this Happy Goat location. I was shocked that they charge 75 cents extra for plant-based milk for their coffee! This is not acceptable. People who are trying to live a more healthy, sustainable and cruelty free lifestyle should not be penalized. It should be the other way around, there should be an extra charge for cow milk or cream. The dairy industry is unethical. Cows in the dairy industry face the same fate as those in the meat industry. They are killed when their milk production declines. No cow is allowed to live out their natural lifespan of up to 25 years. In fact, 20% of the beef sold in stores comes from cows who were exploited by the dairy industry. Also, there were no recycling receptacles for the empty can of Blackberry Soda I bought and drank there.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting this HG location (the morning of Sunday, July 21st), and I must say, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. The quality of the beverages served here is truly remarkable - perfection in a cup! Each sip of my flat white was a delightful blend of rich flavours and expertly crafted textures, a testament to the barista's skill and attention to detail. I'll be back!

My kind of coffee, smooth, fruity, always made to perfection!
This location is much better than their Sunnyside and Bank location. It's much brighter and has a more open feeling. However in general I find the happy goat coffee shops dark which leaves a less than inviting feeling.
The drink itself was nice, a chai latte. However, I asked for tea which they didn't have on my visit. Strange.
I do love the artwork from local artists on the walls.
I did notice someone brought their dog in. Are dogs allowed?
It won't be my last visit here as it's convenient but it won't necessarily be my first choice.

Went for a cup of coffee before a job interview. Great little coffee shop. The barista that served me was a really sweet guy (kinda cute too ☺️). Anyway nice place. If I get the job I will be back.

Happy Goat Coffe Co. (Hopewell) was my first experience with this boutique coffee shop. I have to say that I was quite impressed with the coffee. The atmosphere of this location is brightly lit with natural light, which matches the surroundings appropriately.Great people watching options as you enjoy a good beverage (of which there are many options)

The food and service were very good. The spacing was not very good for someone using a mobility device. Too busy! No push plate to open the door independently either.
