Makes one of the best espressos in Ottawa. Staff are always attentive and upbeat.Great atmosphere. Outdoor terrace. Funky interior space that appears to be a converted machine shop.

What a cute little place to have a get together. It's dark but cozy, volume level was pretty low. Our coffees were made well, and their ginger cookies are

Always love going to Happy Goat whether it’s for coffee, food, beer or all of the above. Even got a message from a buddy in NFLD today saying he loves the Happy Goat coffee we sent him, is on his 3rd cup this morning, and hasn’t stopped smiling all day!

Great service and an amazing mocha! The best I've had in a while! The seasonal scone and chocolate croissant were perfect. I would be a regular here if I lived closer!

We rented out the space for an event (around 65 people) and we couldn’t have been happier! Tamara (the event coordinator) was so thorough, kind, and helpful. She made sure the party was exactly what we imagine it to be! The staff were also excellent during the event and made sure everything ran smoothly. Would definitely recommend Happy Goat for events.

My favourite coffee shop in Ottawa for how cozy it is and how delicious the food and coffee is.

Good coffee, unfriendly staff that seems like they'd rather be somewhere else.

Rude services & gave me the wrong grindI bought beans and ask for a coarse grind for my re-usable Keurig, and told the barista that. He said "And a coffee?" I said no thanks, he said "You're here and don't want a coffee?" I said I'd make one at home. He ground the beans and told me "Enjoy your coffee at home." I got home and he'd ground them extra fine, which is basically unusable. Guess I should have gotten that coffee? If I want to be treated like garbage, I can go to Tim's.

Really enjoyed my latte from here! It was a lovely Sunday morning to check this place out. It was packed. I would worry about finding a table. However, it was lovely outside so we drank our coffees walking. I would recommend my friends check this place out!

Best local coffee roasters. Happy to see that location is open despite construction. Go visit! Support local businesses!!

Great staff, nice atmosphere, fresh snacks and yummy coffee.

Happy Goat not so happy today, unfortunately.  The veteran head barista was clearly overwhelmed, stressed and overworked; but he still made the concerted effort to be incredibly rude to a couple of loyal customers. Well done.As a result,  and regrettably, no more Happy Goat for us. Time to try another one of numerous other coffee shops in the area.
