Service was really good but ice cream wasn’t, it is a bit salty ? And the vanilla was really grainy. I’ll recommend piccolo grande instead.

Havens Creamery offers a charming selection of house-made ice creams, with a creative range of flavors and a clear emphasis on quality ingredients. I really appreciated that everything is made in-house, it gives the shop a sense of care and craftsmanship that's easy to notice.
That said, the Vanilla Ice Cream left a bit to be desired. While the texture was smooth and creamy, it lacked the depth and richness of true vanilla flavor, a touch more intensity or the presence of real vanilla bean could have elevated it.
The Strawberry Ice Cream, on the other hand, was far more enjoyable. It had a fresh, fruit-forward taste with a natural sweetness and just enough acidity to keep it bright and refreshing, definitely a standout.
My guest tried the Cornflakes Milk Cereal flavor, and was impressed by how accurately it captured the nostalgic flavor of cereal milk. It had a subtle sweetness and a creamy, toasty finish that was both familiar and satisfying.
Overall, Havens Creamery has a lot of promise, especially with their commitment to making everything from scratch. With a bit more attention to flavor balance in some offerings, this spot could become a real go-to for inventive, well-crafted ice cream.

Among my favourite ice cream in Ottawa! t Their flavours are perfect if you tend to like things that are “just sweet enough.” I feel like the bad reviews are from people who are used to cloyingly sweet ice cream shops/brands. I recommend trying if you also like the ice cream at Moo Shu.

Fabulous death by chocolate vegan and blueberry cheesecake. Peach not vegan but fantastic. As well the waffle cones are freshly made and delicious. My favorite place in a very long time!

Was looking for absweet treat after dinner and Haveen's was basically next for and it did not disappoint! Their generous portions and flavors won the group over. The highlight in terms of flavor for me was definitely the cereal milk!bi just wish there was more seating/tables.

Delicious ice-cream with variety of flavours that change once in a while. The flavours are not diverse enough sometimes. Service is very good however they can benefit from a self service order system and more chairs.

Ordered the earl grey ice cream, big mistake. Ice cream had the texture of what can only be explained as chalk. Imagine a gust of wind comes mid conversation and sand is blown into your mouth leaving you with tiny granules to try and choke down. I dumped the scoop on the road and ate the cone. The only place I could derive a singular star from.

Welcoming staff as well as thirough explanation of the flavors and process. They use high quality ingredients as well. However, they have very few seats available and the flavours aren’t as good as they could be. Especially the baklava flavour! i am middle eastern and that’s not how baklava tastes (it’s not generally made with salted pistachios) the baklava ice cream just tasted like sweet and salty butter, very faint pistachio taste and no rose or cardamom was noticeable. Other flavors especially the rhubarb strawberry cheesecake were great

Salted caramel: Very salty, slightly caramel, and a deep colour Cereal milk: It does taste like the milk left after finishing a bowl of cereal and plain vanilla Butter tart: Maybe it was just the batch, but it tasted very plain and only minimal hints of buttertart flavour Strawberry: Flavour of blended frozen strawberry and cream
Feedback: This ice cream would be more fulfilling if more mix-ins were included in (e.g. Butter tart, or some cereal in the cereal milk) And if the flavours were more refined.
