Recently moved to Ottawa from Vancouver and I’m so glad to have found this joint. This place satisfies my sushi needs and dare I say that the quality of their ingredients were better than your average joint in Vancouver. I was really impressed with how flavorful the Ebi sushi was as it’s usually the one I’m least excited to eat. The quality of fish was fresh and the taste and consistency was good. The wasabi actually stung without needing to put much. This place gets busy with good reason. Take out only, better to call hours if not days in advance to secure your order. Now I wish they would open a similar joint in Gloucester or Findlay Creek!

We ordered a big sushi platter that had a bunch of premium rolls and sashimi. Hello Sushiman is one of the best sushi places in Ottawa. The sushi and sashimi were good, and we ordered so much that we couldn’t finish it. I had to pack it up and eat it the next day, and even then, the sushi kept well.When ordering, I would call a couple of hours beforehand because they are always super busy. There isn’t really any seating inside so you’ll have to order for take-out. Overall, I would definitely recommend ordering sushi from here.

I tried the spicy salmon and dragon rolls. Some of the best sushi I've had in Canada and the portion size was great too. My only complaint was the cuts on the rolls weren't that great, either not cut all the way through or they weren't uniform. Definitely my go-to in Ottawa area for sushi.

We switched our sushi spot to Hello Sushiman due to horrible service and downgrade of food and wow what a difference. Luckily, Hello Sushiman is nearby as our previous sushi spot was also nearby. Hello Sushiman has great food and service. You can tell they put quality and love in their craft! We are very fortunate to have found this local spot.

Food is great!!! But a bit disappointed that it takes a very long time to get your order (hours). If a businesses knows they are busy I think they should try and adjust to that to keep great customer satisfaction.

This is one of the best sushi places in Ottawa, definitely the best in Orleans. It's run by a lovely group of people. The location is clean and not really for dine in...but it's an endless take out line. The items are fresh, high quality, etc. I've never been disappointed once. They don't use an excessive amount of rice layer around the sushi components on the inside of the roll. It's probably the only place I've seen do that in this city.
