Have lived in the area since 1966 and this was the first time I actually ordered from this restaurant and I was surprisingly super happy and will continue to purchase food from them. It is a Mom and Pop restaurant with love and that’s all we need in this world.

Mom and Pop shop style restaurants always my favourite. Meals don’t feel like restaurant, but more like a home-cooked meal. Keep on coming back for more from pizza to subs and chicken meals.

Hogs Back Restaurant is truly one of Ottawa’s best kept secrets. It’s a small, tucked-away spot, but the moment you walk in you feel like you’ve discovered something special. The owners are absolutely amazing—genuinely warm, kind, and welcoming people who clearly care about their food and their customers.
