Holey Confections

Like nothing I have ever tasted before! I was in Ottawa for business and a coworker brought me to this secret oasis. I chose a sugar cookie as my treat and boy it did not disappoint. I live in Niagara and this is definitely something that we’re missing in the area. I wish there was a location close to home to pick one up occasionally or to at least have them delivered! Can’t wait to go back!

It's way overpriced, glorified croissant. It looks better than it tastes and not worth the money. And it's funny they charge extra for the pistachio filled one like they don't overcharge enough.
Tried it once, never again.

The Raspberry Lemonade donut is really good.
Treat the donut like a little cake for yourself on your birthday. I costs about $6 but it is special.

These are to LIVE for!!!
My first and certainly NOT my last. We were created by a lovely young woman who had been with Holeys for years.
The selection was amazing and the flavors...well you need to try for yourself.

My first experience with Holey Confections was during the pandemic before they had a store front and were selling donuts out of their house! Back then, the donuts were the best in town. I was excited to introduce people to Holey Confections and made a point of having the donuts (over an hour away from home) as my birthday treat once their first store front opened. I had them for the first time in a couple of years recently and got a box of 6 because it had been so long and I (obviously) needed to have more than one to make up for lost time. Unfortunately, the quality of the donuts and the flavour is not what it used to be and it was really (extremely) disappointing. I had a bite of each donut and it wasn’t just one flavour, it was all of them. They were too sweet and too greasy. Sadly I’ll need to find a different « best donut in the city ».

Our work was gifted a box of donuts, and they were absolutely amazing! They’re fresh, with flaky layers, and some even had a creamy custard filling. These aren’t like many of the trendy donut places that are all dough, no flavor, and overloaded with toppings. A box of 6 costs $36, which is a bit pricey for me, but the quality is outstanding. The selection also varies, so the same donuts aren’t always in stock, but that keeps things interesting.
