People on this board is too harsh and mean.Charging 1$ for tap water is not cool, but their wings (on Monday night) is literally Free! Elgin construction and COVID really did big damage on this business. For my experience as of reopening, I've been here every week. Charging for water is hoping for a change when times get better, but the wings are better than EVER! They used to have Tuesday burger specials, not sure they will continue that. Supported this place since 2010, and will continue to support! Keep it up!!March 1st 2021: Went there for wings, appeared to be closed.

I was excited to see that they came back from their Bonnie and Clyde rebranding to the classic Hooley’s. I highly recommend going on Mondays when they have wing night, where wings cost $0.49 a piece, coming to around $6 a pound. Great place with a great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Monday half price chicken wings and flying monkey! What a way to start the week :) Come a bit earlier than 9 to find decent place to sit!

Still the best wings I've had in all of Ottawa! I love the vibe of the place, food's amazing and the staff are very friendly. I go here often and highly recommend others try it out!

Loved this establishment but they seem to be going through something. Staff was pleasant and our server was very nice but please see attached photo. (Please note: I did not eat my wings after two red ones but my boyfriend had no problem finishing his)

We were pleasantly surprised to find out that Hooley’s (and their wing deal) we’re back after closing for a bit. The wings were just as great as before and we liked the atmosphere of the patio they have between their building and Yuk Yuk’s. The hostess was very kind but waiting staff was quite slow, did not check on how our food was after being delivered and forgot to give us plates.

I used to come here almost weekly on their wing nights for their ultra suicide wings and a nice variety of other flavours, not to mention a nice selection of sangria drinks. I have come 3 times since they re-opened, each time hoping that things will be better, as I know the pandemic has made it hard, but I just leave more disappointed every time. A bunch of the flavours got taken off the menu (including my all-time favourite ultra suicides), the wings are not as good as they used to be (the regular suicide wings probably have less heat than sriracha, undercooked wings, lacks flavour), and their awesome sangria pitchers are no longer available either. The worst part? The wings came not just undercooked, but completely raw on the inside. I mean, look at the picture I posted, the chicken is still clucking. I understand new management will make some changes, but this is no longer the same place as the old hooleys at all.

Charging for tap water isn't cool. We had ordered multiple beers and food and they were tacking on $1 per glass of water. Super uncool.

Excellent Wings, so many options (20 different types). Staff was super friendly.

Good cheap food, awful slow service. Waited 20 minutes after being seated to even be acknowledged by our server, after having to ask another server if we could get some service. No acknowledgement of this long wait time was given, and her service was just so slow throughout. I could understand if they were super busy but it was pretty quiet there. She didn't check on us at all throughout, and messed up our bills at the end. It also rained and we were not asked if we wanted to move inside etc. Small gestures go along way to make people feel appreciated in the service industry and this server could learn some. Maybe she was having a bad day, we all have them I guess. Might come back for cheap wings and beer but very hesitant to go any time in the near future. Over 2 hours of sitting to eat a couple of pounds of wings is just wayyy too long.

Went for the cheap chicken wings on a Monday and was not disappointed. So many choices and a cool spot. Only thing I would have liked more is if the Extra Suicide sauce (I think that’s the name) had more heat, delicious though.

This sportsbar just got a remodeling which splits into a sportsbar section and a big dance floor for the weekend crowd. Great appetizers, decently priced beer and only a 10 minute walk from Ottawa U.

I've never had service this bad anywhere. We repeatedly had to go to the bar to request a server, we ended up ordering drinks directly from the bar, but they wouldn't let us order food there. All in all, 45 minutes before anyone came to see us. The food was fairly good, we all seemed to enjoy it. After asking for the bill, it took another 30 minutes, and I paid by CC, to which the waitress decided to "pad" her tip. I noticed the next day when I went to pay off my card, called the restaurant, was promised a gift card for the hassle, but it never came.
