We went for Sunday Lunch Buffet, the service we had was ok the weavers were very friendly.
But unfortunately the food was not good, to start was warm to cold, then the taste was off, the tandoori chicken was sour and the curry lamb we didn't even finished the plate.
Rice , soup, was cold.
Very disappointed, we will never coming back again.
Fish Tikka was sizzling hot! Will definitely be returning here. Great service.
The food was not fresh always bad on the weekends .
Worst butter chicken I have ever tasted, viscous and with a gross tangy taste, also overpriced. The vindaloo tries to make up for it with some tasty heat but comes up short with dry and stringy lamb.
I ordered food through Uber; they called several minutes later, indicating certain items were not available. I was told to request a refund.
I found out later that I was charged for the order regardless of not receiving the food. When Uber inquired further, they told them they sent the food to delivery. When Uber checked with delivery, they did not pick up the food.
Instead of providing an alternate, they kept yelling on the phone to contact Uber, despite Uber indicating the merchant (Host India) charged for the order.
Horrible experience; didn't receive the food and got charged by the restaurant. Ripping customers off in the economy is insane behaviour.
The yummiest indian food ever!!!! My first time to order last night and foods are super delicious specially the butter chicken, nan bread and lamb biryani!! I will definitely order again.
Kind staff and even better food.
Each time we pass by our mouths drool - time to go back!
When it comes to Indian food this is always my favourite restaurant. Always satisfied my craving and desire for having soul food. The taste and smell and everything is amazing and always delicious. Their lamb biryani, butter chicken and the garlic naan is my favourite. I love and I tried everything there.
I love the host!
It's not too far from my house and it's a good Indian stalwart in the area. The service is fast, friendly and efficient; the place is nice and the food really is one of the better Indian restaurants in Ottawa. Oh and the buffet too! Really out of this world! High recommend.
I went for lunch buffet. The service was good, vibe is good. I just wasn’t that much of a fan of the food. It was just ok - I’ve definitely had better Indian food in the city. The butter chicken was also disappointing. Naan was hot and fresh though.

We decided to give this place a try and order in for a small meal. I have to say that my first thoughts are very positive. We ordered two pioneer dishes, which were both very very tasty. I like how much spice they use here and their non-bread is pretty Awesome. We had intended to order two pieces of none, but something happened with the ordering website and we ended up only ordering one. Double check to make sure you get the quantity you were hoping for. Not the mistake of the restaurant, if anything I would’ve loved more. I’m excited to see what else they have on the menu.
We ordered lamb byriani from here tonight and immediately got food poisoning. We had stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, and you know the rest. Stear clear ...
Came for the butter chicken and rice. Very good.
Awesome
Being an Indian I felt like I am getting my mom’s hand taste in this restaurant
Must try lunch buffet
