Amazing food and stellar service!

Awesome place. Would recommend for great food atmosphere and live music.

The food was fresh and tasty, the service was quite good but unfortunately there was a group of about 15 people dining celebrating and was way too loud for this small restaurant. So would love to return but would check if a big group reservation is on that night.

Great experience! Our server Alex was amazing!!! The atmosphere was great! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly! The food was on point! Will definitely be returning back to this place again!

Haven't been to Hunter's Public House in a while, but met up with three friends for lunch recently and I'm glad that I did. Great service and great food. They have several gluten-friendly options on their main menu. I had the Beet & Walnut Salad and added grilled chicken. It was delicious! Will definitely go back.

I enjoyed the beef tartare. Very friendly staff. Very nice patio that open all winter long as per the waitress said with individual heating system.

Food was really good and staff was incredible. Did not have a lot of time to feel and enjoy the atmosphere, but we definitely plan to come back on our next trip.

The food is always pretty tasty. Never been disappointed by anything I have ordered. I feel it is a bit pricey but everything is these days. Our waiter Scott was great! Really liked him. Perfect balance of ensuring we were enjoying our meal and if we needed anything without being intrusive. He knew the menu and answered all our questions.

Great selection of whiskey, a bit steeply priced. Excellent service.

Great spot for brunch! Had never heard of it and in an end of town we don’t frequent but found it on a list of top 5 brunch places in Ottawa so decided to give it a try. Had trad eggs Benny (quality hollandaise, perfect eggs and served on a beer muffin, that was initially an unknown, but was delicious! Baked Brie waffles were a tasty sweet and slightly savoury treat. Service was super friendly and though it’s located in a strip mall, once inside it has an attractive brewery/roadhouse vibe. Highly recommend!

Hunter's Public House is a nice busy place that has great service and is very clean. They have live bands every Friday.

We found the food to be very good. The exception is the price of the what you get. We received a poke bowl that was $27. it was very tasty however I could not understand how you can justify the markup of such a simple dish that other places specialize in and make far cheaper. The Hunter Taco's were interesting as well. They come plain and adding a protein costs a minimum of $3.00. This totalled $24.00 for something that would be an appetizer on some restaurant menu's such as BeerTown.

As a well rated restaurant, I would possibly skip coming here due to the value you receive. I have done hundreds of reviews and very seldom do I make comments on prices but this one doesn't measure up.
