Actually, I was surprised with meal taste. It tastes much better I use to have in Canada. I asked about great taste of pesto sauce, and owner told me it's real pesto came from Italy! Strongly recommended if you looking for real Italian taste meals

God worst Italian bar/restaurant in ottawa hands down. Cook looks like she was hit by a bus or homeless. Owner was very rude to myself and the girls with me. There were rats everywhere. We could hear them under the patio. Bathroom was disgusting. Didn't look like it had been cleaned in weeks. Not sure how it passes any city inspections.The pasta was disgusting and dry. The menu was dated and they messed up our order. DO NOT EAT HERE. 2 of us got sick after.Whoever decorated this dive is blind. Just hilarious.

Great atmosphere, great food, great drinks.Owner & Bartender are such nice people- the chef & staff members are lovely. Love this place, it's my go-to on any occasion.Would recommend if you're looking for a place to either wind down on a weekday or drink on the weekends !

We were genuinely served lukewarm pasta that tasted worse than if we had bought a jarred pasta sauce in store. And it cost $22 for a plate of pasta, if you’re a real customer please avoid this place.

Waitress was nice but pasta was mediocre and portions were way too small for what they charge (>$20 each). We decided to go elsewhere to get filled up. There are way too many choices in the area for us to want to go there again.

If you are ever in Ottawa , Il Peruggino is a must go to for authentic Italian cuisine!! Friendly, and personal service and it made it a feel like we were somewhere in Italy! Bravo to the owner and especially to the cook! We will be back!

I will guarantee every review on this restaurant is false advertisement. The food was very bad in about an hr after leaving all our stomachs were in pain. The waitress said it’s the best pizza but my pet fish can make better pizza in its fish tank. Last but not least the waitress was very pushy towards the end for a tip and when we didn’t tip her attitude completely changed . And btw the chef looked very unhygienic coming in and out smoking cigarettes infront of the customers.
