I have been buying coffee from Kafia for at least 25 years. Their George’s Eye Peeler never fails, and it’s fresh-roasted to the point that sometimes the beans are still warm.

Kafia receives my highest recommendation.

Was getting fed up paying $16-$20 for a 375 gram bag of mass produced coffee a the grocery stores, so found this place which I tried out recently.

Lady was extremely helpful, she asked what flavors I like and what brewing method I use. Based on that, she recommended a bean.

$18/lb (454 grams)

Bans can be purchased either ground or bean.

They sell half pound for $9.

The coffee is delicious.

Amazing coffee! Love the Yemen beans they have been getting in recently. Always cool to pop in the back door when they are roasting and have a look. Excellent spot to get a locally roasted beans.

Excellent hospitality, quality coffee's and large selection. My partner and I had a tour and informative session of the roasting process by the owner Gord. Stacey ( partner/wife) runs the retail, very knowledgeable and her customer service skills a 10. Great Coffee business! Nice people, a must to visit.

Amazingly friendly, the folks that run it are absolutely stand-up people and the level of explanation for different beans, flavours, origins, etc. is just stellar. Been refining my coffee taste for a while now and I credit 90% of the works to the time I've spent here just talking about all sorts of coffee. Some of the special/limited roasts they do when circumstances line up are amazing too, I'm currently on my third(maybe fourth) pound of the Sidamo(medium roast) which is one of those more limited runs and my household can't get enough of it.

It's physically impossible for me to recommend this place any more than I already do, if you love coffee, your taste buds deserve a visit to this gem.

Best place in Ottawa to buy coffee beans whether they are green to roast or already roasted. The selection is fantastic and they are very knowledgeable about their coffee. Super happy have a place like this in Ottawa.
