Came here on Monday and didn’t know they did free pool and a wing special! The wings were wicked. Wasn’t super busy which was nice and the bearded bartender was super friendly! It says they’re open till 2 though but I guess they close early when it’s not busy.

Walked in and sat down as we thought it would be a good spot for lunch. We waited a while but it seemed like the staff were not interested in our business as they were busy talking rather than serving customers. We decided to eat elsewhere on Bank St where service is provided and customers are appreciated.

Went in for a late lunch and it was dead inside. Thought to give it a chance but waitress didn’t even look at you as she leans in the counter chatting away with the one of 3 other patrons. After 10min where we sat ourselves down we walked out and she just glared at us as we walked out. I put 3 for food as it is unfair to judge food quality but service should be zero as their was none but worse as the one staff made you feel like you bothered her.

I also appreciate the deserts they always have, when I went they had a yummy chocolate mocha cake :)

Iconic for a reason! Always a great out at Irene's Pub. Music is always banging and the staff are incredible friendly. Food is amazing. My favourite is the Chickpea Curry!

2026-02-12-second time I've been here with a group to eat & listen to music. The atmosphere is cosy & the special of the day was delicious. I had the fried chicken & ribs with a garden salad & it was consistent to the last time I ordered same dish back in fall 2025. The chicken is boneless & lightly battered/seasoned & the ribs are meaty with a nice bbq sauce that is tasty & not highly acidic to cause heartburn. The musicians are a bonus, an eclectic mix of persons who are seen at venues around town that come here to play on Thursday evenings.

Took my son to see Prime Rib Big Band there for his birthday. Great concert. My son has some special needs. They are minor but still the staff made evening smooth for us. Much appreciated
