Irene’s Pub Restaurant is a vibrant spot with great food, live music, and a laid-back, welcoming vibe. The staff are friendly, the drinks are well-made, and the atmosphere is perfect for a chill night out. A hidden gem in the city!
Nice place, friendly people. Chairs and seating isn't the greatest or long-term comfortable. But the food is always solid, usually some good specials on the menu too. Certainly worth dropping in for a drink and a meal.
My review is mostly based on the food....although I enjoy the atmosphere and the Moosehead on tap!
Back to the food, for "pub fare" the food is excellent. You can tell that whoever is preparing and producing it knows what they're doing and cares about what is sent out.
I've enjoyed all my meals there, and can honestly say it's a nice change having a pub serve food that is really good instead of having the kitchen as an afterthought.....it...
