Incredible food, staff, and atmosphere.
Loved it with my partner on a reecent Friday evening - mains were decent portions of rich food, lots of variety on the plate. Partner enjoyed his smoky cocktail. Dessert - chili cake - was generous portion (super shareable) and not too rich. This is upstairs of course, so not accessible if stairs are an issue (that I'm aware of), but comfy sturdy seats with no arms (I did not check out the bar seating). It is a small space so not as loud w reverb and cutlery sounds as restaurants often get (music was a bit loud as we were seated nearest the speaker, but not too loud!). Would come back for sure!
Wheelchair accessibility: This venue is upstairs in the building
Always a pleasure! Good drinks, delicious vegan eats - lots of flavour. Service is great, I've never had a bad experience here.
Three visits, all superb. The servers are top notch. The food is excellent - an indulgence of complex flavours and textures in every course. As a vegan, being able to enjoy a minimum of three courses is not often possible at a restaurant that also serves meat. Tonight, I had three small plates to consider prior to my entree, and they have always had a dessert. Highly recommended.
Vegetarian options: Typically offers vegan options in every course.
I often say “that was good…for Ottawa” when we eat locally. Rarely do I find myself leaving the last part out. This was one of those times! Top quality ingredients, creativity and staff, Jabberwocky is a must try for locals AND those coming from great foodie towns. Second visit is already booked. We’ll ton Raz and team!!! B
Used to come here regularly, quite disappointed the prices have doubled in the past 3 years but somehow the quality has gotten worse. The charcuterie board was incredibly small for the price, the cocktails were acceptable but absolutely nothing special for $20, the wine was poor quality ($16 a glass for dregs!), and the short rib was way too sweet, way too little for the $54 price tag. Even at half the price, the quality, level of service, and overall experience was and is not worth it. Frankly, quite sad as this used to be a nice little gem but no more.

My table ordered 3 different cocktails and they were all the same shade of brown... I also wasn't a fan of the plastic table cloths and there were some stains on it from the last people sitting there. The food was really tasty though, although a bit pricey for what it was. Servers were friendly.
It was our first time dining there and was blown away with both the menu and the service. The venison was tender and juicy, portion size was perfect. The service was exemplary.A little pricey but totally worth it.
Very friendly, VEGAN options were flavorful, looking forward to coming back and we do recommend! :) (4 1/2 stars)
Amazing setting, great mixed drinks(& selection) and friendly service.
Definitely a cute, little gem of a place. Perfect setting for a group or a more intimate get together.
I'll definitely be back!

Really good food! Cool spot. Good drinks. Would return.
I’ve been to all of the best restaurants in Ottawa and was surprised to learn about Jabberwocky which I had never heard of until a few days ago. The menu looked lovely so I decided to try it out. We ordered 3 dishes (beef tataki, mackerel and the yellow fin) and we were completely blown away. I have dubbed this the best restaurant in the city and can’t wait to go back. The flavour combos, the service, the food presentation are all mind blowing. Will definitely be coming back soon!
It used to be good, but we came back in October 2022 and 1) they are short of stuff 2)their prices are through the roof 3) you can see they are trying to cut expenses in food (e.g. half of their beef tartar dish was raw mushrooms, which just tasted bizzare). My advice is stick with simple inexpensive ingridients and change your menu instead of spoiling the existing dishes.
Service was atrocious and the food with underwhelming. The worst dining experience I have had in 10 years.Save your Money. McDonald’s would be more satisfying.
Cute spot with a great atmosphere and friendly service. I really recommend the beef tartare.
