One of the first places I tried in Ottawa and it did not disappoint. The chicken was juicy and tender and their hot spicy sauce was so tasty. 🔥 will be visiting again

I usually pick-up or order through Uber eats from this location and I have been mostly having my dinner here. Their grilled chicken is the best and cooked to perfection, which is always tasty and hot.

The reason for my mixed review is because of their customer service. I ordered a late night meal, as usual, and reached there pretty late. Even after waiting for 10~15mins no one bothered to check on my order and I was standing there like a fig tree!

The guy who was there, probably an arab guy, was video calling his girlfriend holding his mobile and touching all the foods for the pending orders at the same time. Saw him going inside the kitchen and taking off his shirt to show his topless body over the video call.

They are a perfect example of how some restaurants let customer service fall by the wayside when business is booming — driven by their brazen confidence that a few unhappy customers won’t make a difference.

PS: Order online, don't go to the restaurant.

Everything about this restaurant is amazing, I’ve been ordering from them for the past few months, and it keeps tasting better and better. I recommend everyone to buy their chicken!!!! LOVE THEM TO DEATH!!!!

This is an interesting one, so I arrived at the location as per Google Maps, and I found myself before a different restaurant. Strange. I walked in, and it turned that Jajy was shyly hiding inside a restaurant called Burgery. I don't know why, two menues, same staff, Ghost kitchen type of scenario.

I ordered a cheeseburger with fries from Burgery and chicken with rice from Jajy. The cheesburger was SPOT ON, and I really enjoyed it. it's perfect, and the bun is not to otherwise FANTASTIC. Then I tried the fries and hand cut, I was excited and had a major disappointment: smells like old potato/ oil and doesn't have a single grain or salt or ANY seasoning. Not good. Then I tried the coleslaw, not a single grain of salt either. I am not saying enough salt or below average, I am saying ZERO salt.

I tried the chicken, and it is BBQed to perfection. The color is great. Unfortunately, salt is below average and hence not as flavorful as I would hope for but at least there is SOME salt and flavor there. Rice is great. I loved it.

The staff although Arab are not very well educated on the Halalness of what they have they gave some wrong answers they called the manager and he explained and verified. So ask the questions, what I understand is that everything on Jajy menue, but many items on Burgery menue are not, ground beef for the burger is Halal for sure I had them bring me the package of their ground meat and they were cooperative I saw the Halal sign myself.

Alhamdulillah, filling quantites and reasonable pricing :)

Extremely mediocre, would never order again unless I was broke and starving. The portion size is impressive for the price, but the food is not. The chicken is alright, the rice has an unpleasant flavour, and the fries are very bad. Would not recommend!

Editing my review from 3 star to 1. It didn’t seem fresh to me. Deals are good but I was not feeling good after eating from this shop. 3 was for dining at this place. Place doesn’t seem suitable for dine in. 1 star rating for ordering through uber eats.
