Excellent experience at Jax’s! Lots of options but a classic Benny, the standard and a stack of pancakes is the way to go. Service was excellent and the atmosphere. Hot sauce was delicious and must try! I would definitely go back

We visited the restaurant around 1 pm during a quiet hour.
The spicy egg was absolutely amazing, full of flavor and perfectly cooked.
The lunch burger was heavy, and incredibly delicious. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a relaxing lunch time!

Honestly one of the worst places I have ever been to in my life. Very rude and unprofessional servers (male and female) working on November 15, 2025, at 10 AM. Very discriminatory towards people based on physical appearance/skin tone. Treated my partner and I poorly. I did not feel welcome here despite being a paying customer. I felt unsettled in this place and will not return.
It's as though they felt insulted when I stated I did not enjoy my egg sandwich (despite being asked and answering truthfully and respectfully). Simply do not ask. The female server was extremely loud (also swearing with other customers in the restaurant while having a personal conversation) and joined in on publicly interrogating me about it, despite me not requesting any changes, as I swapped my order with my partner's.
When we asked for a container for leftovers, a very small one was provided and when a second one was requested, a larger one was offered by the male server (despite being what would’ve been the most appropriate the first time). When the second one was provided the male server rudely threw it on the table (similarly to throwing a dog a bone) and made an offhand remark that they felt that a single small container could’ve contained all of the food. Both servers then refused to provide the manager's contact information when asked by my partner.
Breakfast food containing eggs is subpar (obviously subjective). Runny eggs, despite being advertised as fried, no mayo in sandwich (dry). Coffee, potatoes, and sides (fresh fruit and salad) were delicious. I came here once before to pick up a take-out order of banana bread French toast (which was tasty) and also experienced discomfort and poor treatment from a different female server (in terms of not being treated like a human being).
Bad energy overall. I literally lost my appetite while eating here today. People need to check their unconscious biases because the prejudices they have really influence their level of service, and it is extremely apparent, regardless of intention. This is also reflective of hiring practices at this establishment. Proceed with caution.

This is my absolute favorite breakfast spot. Not only is the food excellent, the service is also amazing. I feel like I'm at a friends house.
I had high hopes for this place but the cups were stains, the salmon was not fresh and the bagel had too much sauce it overpowered everything else in it. The plates look better than they taste and sadly it did not hit the mark. Service was okay.

The food was so incredibly good!! I went with my uncle and we had the Banana Bread french toast and The Rick. Atmosphere was very cozy and service was great! My only criticism is that the homefries were too salty.

Waited at least an hour for food. Service was pretty much non-existent. Food looked pretty but was very underwhelming. Would not eat here again.

5 stars for the food and the lovely lady who served us.
The food was very good, and the service from one particular staff member—a kind and friendly lady—was excellent. She made us feel welcome and comfortable, and I truly appreciate her warm attitude.
However, I do want to share a disappointing part of our experience.
Before arriving, I called ahead and clearly explained that my wife has a disability and cannot stand for more than 10 seconds, even with assistance. When we got there, the nice lady who had been helping us kindly offered that my wife could sit on a tall chair at the counter while we waited for a table, since it was first-come, first-served. It was a thoughtful gesture, and my wife took the seat just to rest while we waited.
Unfortunately, another staff member—a different waitress—approached with a noticeably cold and unfriendly attitude. She said, without a smile, “I need to clear the counter.” I explained that my wife was just resting and wouldn’t be dining there, due to her condition. Despite that, she insisted and made us feel unwelcome, all while maintaining a blank, unkind demeanor.
The most frustrating part? After asking my wife to stand and not sit, she didn’t even clean the counter right away. She left us standing for another minute or two before removing the dishes—and still didn’t clean it after that.
I was close to raising the issue further, because I believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity—especially those with visible health conditions. The only reason I held back was because I didn’t want to spoil what was meant to be a rare and happy outing for my wife.
And honestly, the only reason I’m not giving this place 1 star is because of the lovely lady who treated us so well—and because my wife specifically asked me to leave a positive review.
So yes, the place is good. The food is tasty. One of the servers was outstanding.
But I sincerely hope the rest of the staff learns to treat all customers with basic empathy and respect—especially those who clearly need it.

Food was very good and server was great. I got the special omelette, banana bread with fruit. We had a very long wait after ordering, however they may have just been under staffed this day and all the tables were full so it's understandable.

Had been here multiple times years ago and had a good experience but the food today was not good- poached eggs were over cooked, and the hash was sitting in a puddle of liquid which wet the potatoes.

Really disappointed with my experience at Jax Brunch. While our waitress herself was kind, the service overall was terrible — we waited 45 minutes for food while two tables that arrived well after us (15 and 25 minutes later) were served first. On top of that, the amount of stares we got walking in as immigrants made the atmosphere really uncomfortable.
As for the food, I don’t usually bash it since it’s a blessing to even have a meal, but what they served as “the Hash” was basically some bland compost w some wack kimchi that tasted far from authentic, or from anything really. The only saving grace was the maple baked beans we ordered on the side.
(don’t get fooled, it looked good too before i took a bite)
Jax used to be great back in 2021, but sadly it’s gone downhill — jax of all disappointments
