Amazing food and paintings! We ordered Kafta and the appetizer platter- and the food was delicious and good for two. Even the tables are painted! The owner Mr. Raouf Omar is the painter and also the person who serves you. We will definitely be visiting again.

Sublime food and atmosphere coupled with the most gracious and obsessively talented artist owner waiter y nuevo amigo - Raouf Omar. His art work is so beautiful and I got to see him working on a new piece in the back. And please don’t let the beauty of the place take away from the fact that the food is world class. I loved the lentil soup and shawarma. Must experience Jericho on Bank St.

We went for lunch and as soon as you enter the place has a particular smell, like an old basement. We decided to give it a try based on the latest reviews. The place is nicely decorated but the food is not great. The server is the cook, maybe because lunch time is slow. Our chicken lacked flavour and the lemonade ordered did not taste fresh at all. We will not be coming back. There are better restaurants that serve better Mediterranean food in Ottawa.

Sorry to say it was just awful. Lunchtime service. Guessing because it's slower the server is the cook. The problem is that while in the back, the customers are waiting for everything. The big problems was the food though. Ordered lamb kafta. This was obviously not cooked to order and just microwaved. The meat was dry and barely warm. I took one bite and couldn't eat it at all. It was inedible. The rice was the same. At leastvthe salad was fresh. My wife's meal had issues too with part of it was sour as if gone bad. This shouldn't be the case for a fresh item, but then I guess that's the problem. I left the restaurant and went to the corner deli as I was starving. The server had never check in with us the entire time after the food was dropped. Really too bad because there's potential. Easy fixes should they care to improve.
This place is a gem. The owner is a chef and artist. He has carefully decorated the place with his paintings,and frescoes. The food is easily the best shwarma in the city.

Jericho is a colourful, vibrant and fun place for Mediterranean food in Ottawa. The lamb karta is really moist and flavourful. The chicken was a on the drier side as they used breast cuts. Service was okay however could be improved as they were short staffed.

Amazing and delicious!! I ordered the chicken shawarma on hummus - the hummus was the creamiest I’ve ever had, and the chicken was good too. Bonus points for the presentation! My partner ordered the falafel which he found delicious, it was super crispy on the outside and flavorful. The service was stellar and we loved the decor as well. When asked about how they make the hummus so well, the chef replied with love. We’ll definitely be coming back if we’re ever in Ottawa again!
