An early afternoon search in the neighborhood for a small lunch resulted in a quick, incredibly tasty and very filling lunch in the form of a jerk chicken plate at Jerkies Chicken. We were very surprised at how good the Jerk chicken was despite them not having a wood fired grill. Everything, the dirty rice, plantain and especially the Jerk Chicken was excellent! We’ll be back….
I used to order jerkies once a week, it was my safe food order that always made me feel good. They dropped off for a little while but seem to be moving back towards their former glory. I’m quite hopeful that the food I received on Sunday will continue.
