Three of us ate here before an event and we were very happy! Shared the cheese arancini, then arugula salad, and three pinsas. Drinks were delicious (aperol spritz and the Pinot Grigio), music was great, and our server was awesome! Very cozy atmosphere and will be back for sure.

Other than wanting to seat 6 of us by the main door on the patio in the middle of winter.....everything commendable. When we decided to leave because of the patio seating, full credit is to be given to the table staff for moving us inside!! Great waut staff and overall very good value.

Dined on a Monday evening. The restaurant was quiet, and the service was great. The wait staff answered all our questions about the menu and provided recommendations. The cheese arancini was delicious with a fresh, flavourful sauce. Will plan to go back!

Overall experience was okay. We ordered the cheese plate. It came out without items listed on the menu (olives), and the server didn't explain any of the cheeses and jams until we asked. Cheeses were underwhelming. The Server/Service was great otherwise. You get what you pay for here.

Update: January, 2026. What the heck happened to this place? Insane prices and the food quality dipped drastically. Pinsa (Theisman) arrived lacking toppings, too thin, dry, and cold. Cannoli filling is horrid. So very disappointed.

Joe’s Italian Kitchen is a lovely place to visit in Ottawa. I really like its location, and the décor is very charming and inviting. The food is good, although it’s not the best Italian food I’ve had.
I would recommend the lasagna, which is very tasty, as well as the meatballs. The service is fairly standard—staff are friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food to arrive. The presentation of the dishes is nice, and the portions are generous and satisfying.
Overall, it’s a pleasant spot for a relaxed meal in a nice setting.
Great food and beer. Cheese and meat board was excellent. And the pizza was great. The service was exceptional. My dinner companion was late and the staff was very understanding and accommodating.

My wife and I ordered a large Caesar's Salad and a Joe Theisman pinsa to be picked up at the store. I arrived at the restaurant, my pizzawas ready but my salad was not ready. Iwaited over15 minutes for my order tp be ready. I went home andwe preheayed our ovebn to 200 to keep the pinsa warm while we enjoyed our salad. When we opened the bag to get our salad we were very surprised as it was a salad we received but a lasagna. The lasagna was lukewarm and our pinsa was very average. I give it a 4 rating. The texture of the pinsa was very different, I spe t $52.00 for this,I will not be back

We sat on the patio in December and the temperature was very comfortable. They provided us with blankets and outdoor heaters. The arancini cheese antipasti was amazing! Followed by a delicious Caesar salad and their spaghetti polpette- great portions! If you live Italian, you have to visit.
