Juluca's - Italian Restaurant

Been here a few times. The first time was really good, but every time after that has been mediocre and not worth the money.

I’m giving 4 stars only because the edges of the pizza were slightly burnt, but everything else was excellent. Fresh, high-quality ingredients and delicious dough. Definitely recommend and I’ll be coming back again.

This is a Gem in the barrhaven area the food was exceptional and delicious. I was surprised how fast the food came out and our server Daphne is the best I have no complaints with the service. The pasta is perfectly cooked and full of flavour and the drinks are very strong and enjoyable. I will always return to this restaurant

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience tonight! The food was phenomenal, the drinks were amazing and our server Daphne was so much fun. We will definitely be back again soon! Thanks so much !!

A great restaurant!

Juluca's is my favorite place to eat in Ottawa. Whether it is pasta or pizza, their food is absolutely delicious! I have come here for years and will continue to do so for years to come.

Absolutely unforgettable (for all the wrong reasons)

Visited Juluca’s after being fooled by the glowing reviews. I assumed I was in for a decent meal. What I got instead was a tragic culinary experiment gone very, very wrong.

Let’s start with the pizza: or whatever that brick shaped crime against Italian cuisine was supposed to be. I wish I were exaggerating, but I’m fairly certain they deep-fried it. It was so tough I considered checking if it came with a warranty.

Then came the linguine pasta. Hard, rubbery, and somehow managed to be both dry and flavourless at the same time.

And the calamari was Oily, squeaky, and rubbery enough to bounce off the floor. It tasted like it was fished out of the fryer last Tuesday and reheated as an afterthought.

What truly amazes me is how a place serving food this horrendous can confidently charge those prices.
