Horrible experience with Byrani by Box (Karara Indian Takeout)
If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is an absolute disaster. They accepted my Uber Eats order, only to wait until I walked into the store to tell me it was canceled. But guess what? They didn't cancel it. Instead, I was charged for canceling the order myself!
This is beyond unprofessional—it's downright dishonest. They wasted my time, made me jump through hoops, and then essentially stole my money. Thieves, plain and simple. Avoid this place at all costs.

Ordered food online, it felt like the food was re-heated and delivered. Fish pakora the breading on it had the worst taste. Karai Paneer was undercooked, masala tasted like raw tomatoes. Daal too was not seasoned well. All the food was dumped with one chilli chicken unopened. Just had a few pieces of chilli chicken to calm down the hunger

The food was delightful! The gravies were rich, thick, and bursting with flavour. The naan was freshly baked in a tandoor oven, just as I remember. With my cultural roots in India, I must say this is truly the most authentic North Indian restaurant in the area!

Amazing Garlic or Coconut Naans that are almost as big as the table, dynamite Vindaloo and Madras with big servings at least 2 meals for 20$ ! Will be coming back!

We've had Karara takeout in previous years and it was good. However, as of yesterday, we'll never order or recommend the Merivale location again. Food was bland and three of the dishes were done in the exact same tomato-based sauce with no distinction in flavours. The Aloo Matar MAYBE had 5 potato quarters, maybe 10 green peas . . . no cheese to be seen. Other dishes were just a few chunks of meat and mostly sauce. The only thing that satisfied was the butter Naan. So disappointing because the menu pictures look delicious! Not worth the money we paid.
