The desert I got was very good. Little diamond shaped white things. I have no clue what they’re called but they taste kinda like sweet milk/ cheese. They are decorated with silver, and so pretty.

I ordered samosa and noodles through uber eats. Horrible quality. The food was super oily and unfit for eating. I am not the one to put negative reviews, but this was so bad that couldn’t eat it at all. The crust was hard and difficult to chew. Noodle didn’t look or taste good either. 85$ gone down the drain.

We’ve ordered from karara’s a few dozen times over the years. Just picked up an order from the barrhaven location, and this is terrible! The dahl soup is more like a blended rice pudding with a spritz of curry for color. Ive had watered down pea soup taste better. Not sure what this is but its terrible. Will not order from this location again.

For 40 years I have eaten Indian food. If you want you food to taste like vinegar- this is the place to order from.

The butter chicken, korma, masala - all of it was the same.

I would not feed this to my in-laws.

Apparently they take no pride in what they cook.

we ordered 2-curry platter, the food was very stale , it was not even properly cooked. so disappointed with the taste. will never order again!!!!

We bought samosas and jalebis, both were stale and unsafe to eat. This is the second time we’ve had a bad experience. The food we got a year ago was also among the worst we’ve had. A 2.9 google rating and so many 1-star reviews, I now see why. No wonder even on the eve of Diwali, the place was completely empty, while NASA (a nearby takeout place) was packed with a wait time of 30+ mins even to enter and place an order!

Worst Indian food experience ever! Naan not cooked. All sauces for all dishes runny almost as if watered down. Never ordering from here again.

I had ordered a biryani from here which was completely tasteless it was just rice with food colour in it. The rice was also very watery for some reason. Did not taste anything close to a biryani the worst part is their gulab jamun.
Their Gulab jamun literally had fungus on it.
They staff is very rude they were not even apologetic for the food they served.

Unfortunately, not at all what it once was.

30 minute estimate turned into one hour due to 'tandoor oven problem'. So my food sat 20 minutes and the 'naan' was like it was cooked in an easy bake oven.

Daal and chana were good. Meats were tough and cold. Butter chicken was tandoori chicken (not enough of it) thrown into some sauce. Vindaloo was again just meat and some sauce, no veg whatsoever. Chicken Masala was good but cold due to waiting for naan.

All told, 165 dollars(!) of disappointment. It used to be so good here.

Was this supposed to be a joke? Ordered chicken madras. It came with 2 tiny pieces of chicken and watery gravy that barely tasted like anything. Coconut naan was doughey, undercooked, and barely tasted of anything. What kind of Indian restaurant can’t even cook naan bread? Popadums were stale and soggy. The boiled rice was fine I guess. Stay well clear of this place.
