Ordered butter chicken and received this runny, watered down soup with a chopped up tasteless piece of chicken! Avoid ordering from this place.

This is probably 4th time ordering, has been really good in the past… this time it was TERRIBLE. We weren’t even sure we received the correct dishes, they were so different (read: bad) compared to the past ones (we ordered the same dishes we always do). The lamb korma had SO much oil (it covered the top of the dish; pictured) and the consistency was awful. The butter chicken was like no other BC we’ve had before… just all around bad. While the Chicken tikka masala was better than the other two, it was still not good. This was our go-to Indian food place, but this is the last time we’re ordering

I didn't go into the restaurant, my spouse picked it up as takeout, but we were very pleased with the quality. I ordered it before reading reviews and was a bit nervous, but I don't know why others found the food lacking. The butter chicken was moist and flavourful, the Biryani was very tasty, and the naan was fresh. It was also plentiful, with those two dishes being enough for two adults and a toddler with leftovers. I asked for mild spice (for my toddler) and it was good for him, and I didn't feel like it was lacking flavours as a result.

We ordered butter chicken, vegetable korma and some vegetable samosas. The vegetable korma was like a soup with few vegetables. The butter chicken was tasteless. We were very disappointed. It was very expensive for the amount and quality.

The worst experience ever
I did a uber pickup and it showed me ready at 5:30 so i said ok sometimes it’s busy so i went around 5:40 and when i reached i came to know my order isn’t ready yet after which i had to wait another 20 minutes and got the order at almost 6pm and on top if that when i reached home and checked the food it was completely worthless.

Would recommend not to ever order from there.

If you take tiffen then they provide one one or two curry repeatedly daily it's too bad to eat daily same food

Worse experience tonight. We ordered daal makhani and kadai paneer with naan . Daal
Looked like few days old with smell and paneer did not look and taste like kadai paneer.Taste was very bad . When we called to tell them , staff hang up the phone on us while we were talking to them about food . We went to return the food and manager did not even talk to us and staff did not bother to take the responsibility of food or atleast apology could have been made that the food was not upto customers expectations.
WORSE WORSE experience on a Diwali night.

We ordered vegetarian biryani and daal makhni this weekend. It was so horrible that we couldn't even eat it. Eventually it is Tuesday and we threw it all out.

The daal makhni had a bitter aftertaste as if there is a preservati in it. Tasted like the Gits daal makhni that comes prepackaged.

The vegetarian biryani had so much wet curry, it made the biryani soggy. The broccoli was overcooked. Overall undercooked masala.

We are shocked that this is what karara has come to. The food used to taste better before.

Ordered a cheese and paneer paratha and it was really bad. There was no raita/achar and sides were burnt like a naan.. was a little hard too.. If you are charging $10.99 for a parantha, atleast have some quality! I barely ate even half of it and only as it was past dinner time and had no other choice.

I used their bathroom and it was very dirty. It looked and smelt as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Something needs to be done about that.

Chaat is very sweet doesn’t taste good at all
