not very consistent with portion sizes, but some of the items on the menu are yummy!

the website needs a bit more work. i’ve tried ordering around 3:15, and i was getting a pop-up saying that the restaurant was not open yet. i also couldn’t process my order without creating an account first :/

Generous portions and small price. Got two full entrées, lassi, two serving of rice, papadam, and dessert. Three people ate and there are enough leftovers for us to all eat It again today and I paid 50$ and now it's where I will always go now for Indian take out.

I'm flabbergasted at these one star reviews, had to triple check that it was the same place because they don't represent my experiences at all.

They remembered us from our first order and greeted us very warmly. He listened to our vague requests of what we felt like eating, took into considerations our many dietary restrictions and was able to suggest dishes to which we made substitions and alterations and he was happy to comply.

Service and care that I don't get anywhere else. The 3 small high tables are not elegant. They are an extra feature that allow you a place to eat if you don't have anywhere else to take it to. If you are wanting a beautiful dine in experience, go somewhere else. But if you care about being treated with respect and warmth, and not paying crazy prices come here and come again!

Next time I will ask for my food to be more spicy and that's all!

Vegetarian options: Try the panneer and the juicy chunks of vegetables. The big chunks of tomato but after i tried it and loved it. The veggies are main players and not just decoration.

Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, gluten free, nut free, dairy free, egg free, healthy, just let them know your needs. My severely gluten intolerant friend goes there with no cross contamination reactions.

Parking: It's street parking I think free. Might be hard to find a close one depending on the time.

Kid-friendliness: My child was offered deserts and they even gave some to me the mom. They were not judgmental about any of the loud noises my daughter was making that day. Only friendly and accepting. They really don't make the food spicy unless you request it. Even dishes you would assume would be spicy, so you may share with child. The 3 high tables are not ideal for dine in with a 4 year old, but we made it through and all enjoyed.

Ordered a few items that are staples of my indian cuisine experience and was wildly underwhelmed despite already low expectations. The food costs as much as a proper sit down Indian restaurant, but the best way I could describe the taste is canned soup. The consistency, taste, spice level, and smell were all off, and the order cost me nearly $60! Really disappointing lunch, will not be giving any of these locations another try.

This is a takeout place, so atmosphere doesn’t mean anything. Food was not good value IMO. The butter chicken looked like it was made from left-over chicken Vidaloo cut up into gravy. Flavour was ok, but the chicken had not simmered in the gravy and I have had much better butter chicken at other restaurants for the same price. The madras beef curry was all gravy and only a few chunks of beef. Again, better value can be found elsewhere. Naan was good. Biryani was passable but lacked flavour and aroma. I wouldn’t order here again.

I walked in at lunch today around 12:30 pm and walked up to the counter to look at the menu. No one was around. I saw a bell and rang it. No one came to the counter. Looked in the kitchen and rang the bell again. There appeared to be no staff present, so I left. I will not be back.

I ordered 4 pieces of garlic naan. I received a lump of bread that was alternately undercooked and doughy, or dry and burnt. Each bite was an adventure! If there was garlic involved, I didn't taste it.

Also ordered 4 vegetable samosas. Received 4 misshapen, salty masses. These tasted okay, if you could get past the salt.

Paid $33 for these abominations.

We called and placed our order for picked up. We were told it would be 20 mins. When we showed up, it wasn’t ready and they were scrambling to make it. When we got it home, the chicken was so tough, it was the texture of an uncooked potato. And there was a hair in the garlic bread. Definitely won’t be going back and do not recommend.

OMG one of the best "fastfood" biryani I have ever had, and the staff was fantastic.
If you are willing to try Indian, this is a great entry level as it stands on its own, recommend and will order again.

Worst lunch I’ve ever had. So bland. Tastes old and the naan is so old and dry that it’s crumbling.

I’ve been in India , I’ve been working with Indians and I’ve been working in a Indian restaurant back in Nelson bc .If you tip them . Make sure you put it directly into the staff pocket . 80% Indian restaurant owner will take all the tips to themselves . I’ve ask the staff , they confirmed it . Wich isn’t legal in canada .Samosa we’re warmed up in a microwave. I had to return them as they were overcooked in the microwave . You all know how good because . Unpleasant to eat that’s for sure . Beef one were to saltyI’ve didn’t try anything els .It’s unfortunate. Staff was helpful and I felt bad . But we shouldn’t feel bad and we should express how they can improve .Indians are coming here for a chance and a future . But taken advantage by their bosses. Sad reality . Same as in India .

Good if you like the blander and sweet version of indian food. This place used to be good but the quality has gone significantly down. I used to order the tikka masala with garlic naan which was great - although it was hard to get them to actually make it spicy. Now the tikka masala just tastes like tomato sauce. It's also not spicy at all and actually tastes sweet now? The garlic naan barely has any garlic on it. Maybe they tried to target a wider demographic by changing to a more bland and sweet flavour but it definitely is not what it used to be.

I had issues with my delivered food so I called the restaurant and shared my concern. To which, they argued without logic as if I was eating food for the first time! They themselves told that they don't make some food freshly and due to that it might have tasted bad. This is called stale food! At first, they say I was giving bad reviews because I get paid for it and when I called them to speak personally about it and share my genuineness, they don't come to a conclusion and asked me to go on and review again. Wow. Thanks for the awesome customer service.
