Great atmosphere with good food. Limited dining spaces so expect to wait for a table.

This is not your typical burger joint. Although I am sure they serve a fantastic burger I have yet to try them. However, I have tried the fish and chips which are fantastic. The serving portion of the 2 piece fish and chips could feed two people depending upon your appetite.
My wife and I have also had their fish taco as well which was also great. But my favourite appetizers has to be the calamari rings which are extremely tender and crisp. I also love equally as well the mussels in wine & garlic sauce. The mussels are delicious with the right amount of garlic as not to overpower the mussels.
We have been to Kelly's Landings for lunch several times but have yet to make it for dinner. This is where the view from the patio lends itself well with the meal, enhancing the experience to its full potential. On a warm sunny day you could catch a boat or two going by or just watch the world go by without a word. This view makes the meal the full package along with the service depending on which wait staff you happen to get. I have had over the top wait staff while some have been OK. But none has ever been poor. I make this distinction because the service, I also count as part of my overall experience. Especially, when all food service industries are now requesting a starting tip range of 15% and up. I will not just give you this requested tip because you brought my food to me. I look to enhance my dining experience by getting service worthy of the requested tip otherwise the overall meal is diminished. My one issue would be because this location is so busy you get some individuals that tend to want everyone in the resturant to be in on their conversation. Making it difficult to converse at a normal conversation level at your own table. I don't understand this phenomenon of yelling at the people across the table from you?
With all that said I would definitely recommend Kelly's Landing.

Drove all the way out here from the city at the weekend as the location and reviews looked excellent. Arrived to find a sign at the side of restaurant that it is shut for the rest of the season at the weekend with no explanation. No mention of it on google despite the opening times being recently updated. While there, two other parties arrived looking for the restaurant and were disappointed too. In the time we were there (3mins) 6 people turned up, and had to drive away. I can only imagine the money missed out throughout the entire day/weekend. In 2025, it takes two seconds to update your google business account with relevant opening times to save customers a 45min drive. We drove down the road to The Swan pub instead. But wouldnt have bothered driving out that direction in the first place had we known. Wont be back to Kelly's Landing again.

Ok... So second time here. What a great spot to stop for dinner when boating... Even though you have to wait, you get to do it staring at a sundown that is second to none. Amazing place. Must see if in Ottawa.

Great spot to eat and relax. Great views, food and service. Tons of docking for boats, and parking for cars. One of the best restaurants on the water in the Ottawa valley. Keep in mind that most of the tables are outside. Better place to visit on a nice day.

Not sure I can agree with the (mostly) positive reviews.

Was recently there to meet a friend. I was a few minutes early, and the hostess told me she couldn't seat me until my guest had arrived. First time I have ever heard of a policy like this and wasn't really impressed.

I had the fish and chips, thinking it would be a safe bet. The batter wasn't crispy or sufficiently puffy and the fish was overcooked. Believe it was fried at too low a temperature The fries were way oversalted, worse than McDonald's, and I don't believe they were fresh cut.

The bright spot was the patio, a lovely view of a narrow channel on the Rideau. The server was pleasant enough but she never checked in to see if we were happy with our food.

All in all it was poor value for money and did not live up to expectations.

Normally I enjoy the food, but had some burnt food on my last visit. Notified waitress but nothing was done to address the issue.
