Good vibes & decor. Service is very good. Food is okay. The rice used for the Salmon dinner was not japanese rice. It was just regular rice (I think it was jasmine rice?). But their sashimi was great! The chirashi did come with japanese rice so it was great. It was a little expensive for the amount of food given as the Kiko house special roll was thinner than what I expected per piece. I would recommend the Chirashi. It was very yummy! Overall a great experience dining in there!

Agedashi tofu (mild or spicy) is excellent. We have it as an appetizer every time we visit. Sushi is fresh. Katsu don and other Japanese comfort dishes are delicious and really hit the spot. Recommend.
Kid-friendliness: This is a "grown-up" restaurant. Suitable for older or more mature children. There is no kids' menu or play area.

Good sushi spot located in little italy. I had the sushi twice now, it's made fresh to order and tasty. The sushi is a little expensive so I wanted to try something else, which were the chicken udon noodles. They were good but I wouldn't order them next time. It was a generous portion and they were good. I have been to kiko twice now and it was good both times.

We went on a Tuesday night and waited an hour for our food after we ordered. No one came to check on us or offer drinks while we waited. The sushi was alright, but not worth an hour wait. We won’t be going back.

Service was extremely slow. It took an hour for our sushi to be served, and we only ordered a couple of rolls. The rolls we did get were very skimpy and unimpressive. I was so excited to try this place based on all the positive reviews but I won’t be back.
I've been going to Kiko for years and absolutely love it. The food is delicious, the staff are phenomenal, and it's nut-free which is such a blessing. Highly recommend!

Some of the best sushi in Ottawa, great service, good atmosphere, decent sized boats and excellent tempura. Prices are also atmospheric if you are comparing it to sushi places in Vancouver or Toronto. That being said - for the quality the prices aren't worse than their local Ottawa competition.
