We have been going to Knyota drinks since it opened. We first went on a tasting experience. Benson listened to what we liked to drink and suggested non alcoholic versions to try. He was generous both with tastings and advice. Since then we go every few months to stock up. My absolute favourite ins the Gimber, finally a ginger drink that isn’t full of sugar!

Benson has a good variety of the best Adult appropriate #Non-Alcoholic-Beverages in Ottawa, maybe Ontario, or even Canada! You can find Mocktails, wines, beer, spirits, ciders, and bitters to go! I bought my soon to be high school graduating twins, some of these for them to take out to the parties to come with grad, they can socialize and still keep their wisdom and senses ;D

I’ve been here a few times to buy gifts for sober friends. They do a really good job of getting you what you need and they offer a tasting for $20 per person. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m excited to see what they’ve got in their growing in inventory

Went in last night for a tasting and it was absolutely wonderful. We love making cocktails at home and were delighted to find new alternatives to recreate classics and explore new flavour profiles.
The owner was super responsive to questions and made suggestions based on our tastes and what we liked during the tasting.
This shop will definitely become a regular haunt for me for some amazing non-alcoholic options.

I was in Ottawa for a weekend, and was really looking forward to this experience - I was not disappointed. The knowledge, hospitality and selection are all top-notch, and the tasting experience was incredible. My questions were met with excellent stories and discussions, and the tasting selection was exactly what I hoped it would have been. I have already recommended it to my friends, and will continue to recommend it any time someone says they are headed to the area!

SCAM / RIPOFF
Went to test non-alcoholic wines with my wife (who can't drink at the moment). Went and had their tasting, which was 4 0.5 ounce shots of non-alcoholic wines served in thin plastic shooter glasses. There was no price listed or mentioned for the tasting, and given the quantities we had actually assumed it might be free/ nominal charge.
All the reds were actively bad, the white bubbly kind of tasted like cider and was pleasant. Prices for the non-alcoholic drinks are high, but sold in singles which can be useful for tasting the beers.
We picked up a couple drinks for trying later and went to pay. He charged us 40+ tax for the tasting (read 40$ + tax for a total of 4 ounces of juice served in plastic shot glasses), more than the actual cost had we bought the whole bottles. Left feeling scammed and pissed off at the guy at the store for not mentioning the price beforehand and for the tasting being just so bad...
