Quaint location with very friendly owners/staff. We came in at the tail end of a lunch shift and they were very accommodating. Ordered the Kochu roll set, Inari, Shrimp Tempura roll and the Bulgogi Toast. All items were well presented and most importantly were full of flavour. Bulgogi toast was a massive hit! Because of the timing we were unable to dine in, which was ok, as we were staying close by. There are bar chairs and a window surround table to take in the sights if the street. Also a couple of small table chair sets for four. Very easy to recommend!

We’ve been loyal customers of this restaurant for over 8 years, since their Elgin Street location. We’ve always enjoyed their food and usually order takeout, but today we decided to dine in with our two young kids.
The dining experience was extremely disappointing. About halfway through our meal, the waitress asked us to “please have the kids be a little quieter.” I was shocked, our kids were not being disruptive at all, just being kids. Maybe once or twice they raised their voices, but nothing unusual for children (a 20
Month old and 4 year old) enjoying dinner.
It’s a small, casual restaurant, not a fine dining establishment, yet we were made to feel unwelcome and embarrassed simply for bringing our family. I couldn’t even finish my meal because I felt so uncomfortable, and we ended up leaving early.
After all these years of being regular customers, I will not be returning. It’s upsetting to think this is how they treat families. Do they also ask groups of adults enjoying themselves to keep quiet? Very disappointing. There are no high chairs for children either which makes sense that they don’t expect kids to partake at their restaurant.

Excellent food + preparation of vegetables, great attention to detail in flavours here!
Service was really good and food was amazing 10/10 recommend
Came to this place while we were craving for sushi in Ottawa and we wanted a restaurant that had Aburi sushi and after looking at their menu, they had “Torched salmon sushi” and great reviews.
The sushi was disappointing for its price. The salmon didn’t taste fresh and there was way too much cream cheese. The asparagus in the middle did not blend in well with the flavours. The unagi was good! But yeah I feel like it’s better to go there for their korean dishes (they have so many options) and not for the sushi. They also only had a few seats. The space was small. It was definitely a mistake on my end that I didn’t review the restaurant properly first and only looked at one thing on the menu and immediately went. But I’m rating this place for what we ordered and also the atmosphere.
Lovely staff happy to help with a food allergy. Delicious bibimbap wasn’t too spicy for my beginner palate!
Everything is so FRESH and delicious, the staff are super kind, and their price is very reasonable. My favorite place to get sushi in Ottawa.
