On November 3rd Sunday afternoon we stopped by brioche on Bank street the original, bought 03 knefeh bi ashta to go we had unpleasant service from... behind the counter. We drove home 15 min away from the shop. We did set up the table to have the knefeh bi ashta and some fruits... We discovered after couple of bits that the dessert we bought taste sour very bad flavor... I called the store on Bank street trying to explain to them the situation, it happened that the same lady who served me did pick up the phone she said that nothing is wrong with their products and started to argue with me giving many excuses and Denying that they sell any bad products and hang up on me. Very bad service unprofessional person poor training No management to follow up....

The taste of cake slices were awful. The flavors did not match even slightest with what it said. I asked the lady for a slice of knafeh and she gave me basbousa. Not sure how they have 4 star rating.

I heard so many good reviews so i decided to get the customized cake for my daughter’s birthday . I placed an order on call and give the date and pick up time . But on the pick up day when my husband went there , the cake was not ready they actually forget to make it, my husband has to wait for about 20 minutes, then they make it and gave to my husband .In the evening when we cut the cake and eat it was horrible , very hard , seemed like it was not freshly made . It was my first and last time buying from there.

Overpriced, nuts tasted old and not hospitable with a grumpy face IN THE MORNING. Really didn’t feel welcomed there. They had fruit flies and flies in the store and no action taken. I would have thrown up if it was on my pastry. They don’t accept American Express either.

This was on my places to visit in ottawa and i would not visit again. The pastries were not fresh nor was the baklava. One of the pastry was actually stale. Got the pistachio baklava which was good. Cashew one was sad. It's a good thing i didn't go for looks and order more.

My mom used to take me here when I was born and now I am an adult and I still go here for every occasion. They have an amazing variety of pastries and cake. And also other deserts such as baklava as well. The cakes are so delicious and you cannot find unique cakes like that in other stores. The staff is very nice and helpful, and atmosphere is very welcoming. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I love this place and would definitely recommend.
