Aside from being one of the only true gluten free pasta dish restaurants in the city, it is our top choice when craving Italian. Make sure to book a reservation during busy times as the venue is small but intimate and cozy. Very romantic atmosphere! A top contestant for a first date or anniversary dinner.

Location:Uncomfortable seating, cramped space in a basement that sucks in cold air every time the door opens and its so small you can't move around without hitting someone. A claustrophobics nightmare. Food: not bad, not the best either. Limited menu. Service: slow but acceptable. Be aware that this sector of Ottawa doesn't have a lot of parking options, i would recommend taking a taxi.

Our server, Maelle, was an absolute treasure. Every interaction was delightful. She was warm, cheerful, and made us feel more like guests in her home than customers. She is an asset to this beautiful restaurant. The food was delicious, with the crispy polenta bites stealing the show. The only note is that it is quite loud in the restaurant, with all the tables so close and the music quite loud. Holding a conversation was difficult. But, the conversation with the chef was so special, and then, the room falling silent as he sang happy birthday was an unforgettable moment. What a precious, personal touch. We loved our experience and look forward to returning.

Quaint little place with excellent service and food was excellent as well. If you have a Gluten Free member in your group , this is the place to go. Several GF options with fully certified cooks and serving staff. It even come out on different colored plates so there is no confusion. Would go again and recommend to friends.

Wonderful experience great food very accommodating staff and Andrew went above and beyond to make certain my gluten free experience wasn’t devoid of flavor. Andrew is an amazing server and if/when we return it will be because of Andrew. Thanks again.
All-round excellent experience. The food was delicious, the portions are generous, and the service was amazing. Prices are reasonable by today’s restaurant standards. Highly recommend the tiramisu. If you’re driving in there’s a free lot a few blocks south.

As someone with celiac disease, it's so wonderful to eat at a place where so much is gluten free! I'm very sensitive to cross contamination, so every conversation with a waiter necessarily starts with a lotnof questions - most of which were set aside when she assured us that they have a separate kitchen certified gluten free by the Gluten Free Food Program. They serve gluten free food on black plates, and gluten full on white, so it's always simple to tell. I had the delicious La Dolce Vita pizza, and shared the jumbo shrimp and Crème Brûlée with husband. All the food was amazing and even gluten-eating husband raved about the gf pizza! The atmosphere was lovely - warm, cozy, not too loud, friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely come back!
