We are so happy we chose Lago as our wedding venue! The process leading up to our wedding was very seamless and communication was great. Gyneya and the kitchen staff incorporated our food preferences in preparing the meals and our guests all agreed the food was very flavourful and well prepared! On the day of, our schedule was thrown off by a few things and the team at Lago really worked with us to ensure everything ran smoothly in the end. Kailee, Kim and Gyneya were all great to work with and very accommodating. The views also made for the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos. One thing I’d note is use of the elevator may not be possible as the elevator is operated by the building so it can sometimes be out of service. This was a small inconvenience on the day since many of our guests wore heels but we were made aware of this being a possibility far in advance. Luckily we did not have guests with major mobility issues but if you are booking the room on top and you do have guests who may struggle with the stairs, this is something to consider. Overall, I would definitely recommend this venue to others.

We hosted our wedding at Lago this fall, and I cannot overstate how fantastic this venue was in every way. First of all, the food was incredible, and there were so many options to choose from. Second, the venue space is just the perfect location! You have a beautiful view of the lake with an all glass wall. We went lighter on the decor, which ultimately saved us a lot of money, because the space as it comes is already so beautiful. It's also right next to the Arboretum, which is a fantastic spot for photos. Third, this is a full-service venue. Gyneya and her team will take the time to review all aspects of the wedding you want, and have things running like a well-oiled machine day of. You don't need to hire a day-of coordinator as they will handle all setup/takedown and help carry out the ceremony. I can't exaggerate this, Gyneya acted as a paramedic, seamstress, logistics expert, and personal driver, and she really has the most calming presence, including assuring everyone when the photographer briefly lost their bag. Her entire staff is fantastic as well; we got many compliments about the bar service from guests. Would highly recommend having your wedding here if you are shopping for a venue!

From the detailed contract that answered all our questions, and the final meeting that was so detailed it set our minds at ease. to them reassuring us (as I felt stressed) that a small delay at dinner due to another vendors timing error “ is absolutely no big deal” a member of the wait staff asking if we wanted food packed to take back as a snack that night, to thanking US for “having amazing friends that treated everyone so lovely” Gyneya personally being the last person to say good bye as we walked out that night. We are so grateful for the experience we had and we are so thankful for them all! The food is STILL almost a month later the topic at visits with friends, you made our dream day come to life in your gorgeous venue and we’ll forever be your #1 fan!!
I went there for a friend's wedding, it was a beautiful place, the reception hall was not even decorated and the place was nice. Big windows to look at the water and the scenery. There is a balcony for the wedding or to go chill outside. You can also rent kayaks, there is a restaurant beside (we didn't eat there so I can't talk about the food.) the staff was amazing, always there if you needed something, always on the ball. Appetizers were good and super was amazing. The wedding was about 90 to 100 people and we didn't feel cramped. There was a shuttle service from the parking to the event and then later from the event to the parking, parking was 15$. Sorry only 2 pictures since it was a wedding

Our daughter was recently married at Lago. The venu was spectacular. We dropped off our decorations and they took care of everything. It was done exactly as the couple requested. Gyneya and her staff were friendly, easy going and very organized. The ceremony went off without a glitch. The four course meal was out of this world ! The shuttle service to the parking lot was excellent as well. The following day we picked up the decorations and they were boxed and ready to go with the option of picking them up a couple of days later. Have your wedding here. You will have no regrets!!

I got married last weekend at Lago and I cannot say enough how amazing the entire experience has been from beginning to end. Lago is the most stunning venue right on Dow’s lake with options for indoor or outdoor ceremonies. The food was incredible we chose the buffet and it was not only delicious but also set up beautifully. Gyneya and Cailey are truly the fairy godmothers of weddings. They helped us with every single detail of our day, answered every email and supported our vision! They did the set up and take down of all our decor, they helped us to coordinate our schedule and make sure we had everything we needed. They even had our favourite drinks ready and waiting for us after the ceremony. We had our dog with us for our ceremony and they gave him water and cuddles. They are also as kind and fun as can be.
