Found this place during our day trip in Ottawa and it was a delightful surprise. The fish and chips is yummy and fresh. Good price and good portion! And the owner is friendly. Definitely would recommend.
La pointe’s Amed has been the most welcoming to us and our parents who were visiting for the first time. He made sure that they had the best experience of their first poutine, truly a must visit.
Went to this fish market for the first time yesterday. I bought a whole snapper and 6 jumbo shrimps. When I took it home I could smell them before taking it out of the bag. I rinsed both a few times right away and wow it does not smell good. It can be hidden but strong spices but for that price, I was surprised and kinda disappointed cause I wanted light seasoning today. I'm going to cook the shrimp tonight but I think already know I need to drown it w/ strong flavours. Maybe...
