Will not return, the food is not as flavourful as it is at other Indian restaurants . We had the shrimps, chicken and lamb. The lamb sauce was so oily, it was awful. The server was very young and not helpful in providing recommendation.
What a great place. Slowly changing menu means there always a new delight as well as old favourites. Owner Surinder always a delight. A very special place in Ottawa
We very much enjoyed our dinner at this small restaurant in the Glebe. We started with the crispy shrimp, which were served with two spicy sauces. It was very good. Our mains were the chicken korma. The chicken was tender and the sauce excellent. We also had the eggplant dish, which was also very good. We had roti as a side dish. Service was attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant.
The atmosphere is cozy & inviting & the food was delicious . I recommend adding a few more wines on the menu 1 Chardonnay 1 Malbec without stating the country or region was a disappointment. This is a nice restaurant but they really should add a few more choices on both the white & red wines.
The dishes we ordered were delicious. It's a tiny place but the tables are not crowded together so you don't hear conversations at other tables. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the dishes. Highly recommended!
It was my second visit to LTTD and bringing friends. An excellent evening, on all levels. The food was delicious( as last time) and the timing of service perfect. My friends who are very discerning about where they dined were duly impressed and mentioned they will mention it to their families to try. I will certainly be back with them. Booked to dine with other friends in December and ring in the holidays!
Really enjoyed my "trip" to Last Train to Delhi. Surinder is a gracious host and chef and he was very attentive to us during the whole evening- at no time were we rushed - he kindly checked in on us regularly while letting us enjoy a leisurely evening. This train is definitely worth boarding and making the trip to Fourth Ave in the Glebe!
The owner/ chef is a culinary master who lovingly and passionately prepares and serves his food. The menu is small focusing on the best he has to offer. Everyone LOVED the food and experience. It was devoured with awe. Thank you for sharing your talent and brilliance to create a wonderful experience.
Lovely food but menu needs to change more often

I had a chance to visit your place last week and it was amazing!. The place was very clean with nice ambient music playing in the background. The decor and vibe were amazing!. I started off with an appetizer Paneer Pakoras, then for the mains Kashmiri Chicken, Daal, Saffron rice and ghee roti. Everything tasted so good!. I had some leftovers and had it the next day and it was delicious!.

This was by far the best Indian food we have had and we’ve been in numerous Indian restaurants in many countries, including India.
We will without a doubt repeat the experience.

Very nice restaurant with great service, friendly and attentive staff. Absolutely lovely dishware and lots of nice little touches with a lovely decor of wood and brick walls. They've tried to get creative with some classic dished like onion badji which they make like onion rigs but doesn't taste as good as the original. They have a lavender drink that's fantastic. The food itself was OK but quite pricey. $25 dishes for a few morsels of meat and does not include rice which we had to buy separately and was quite bland and roti that was so-so. Overall great place to bring a date, not the best place for delicious Indian food and overall disappointing value for money.
Came on Sat at 5:30, the restaurant is not opened and no one is answering the phone. Shows open on google. Kinda disappointed
Google and website showed it’s open, drove from Barrhaven to see they were closed on a Thursday with no note on the main door.
