5 stars I had an amazing experience at Lazare BBQ House! The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavour and cooked to perfection. But what really made my visit special was the person who cooked and served me. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cared that I was satisfied with everything. He made sure everything was perfect and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was just as impressive as the food. Highly recommend this place 👌 I’ll definitely be coming back!

I am really disappointed with this restaurant which nevertheless has potential. Several points to review: - It is impossible to eat on site as the restaurant's ventilation system appears to be faulty. Indeed, all the smoke from the grill and the smells of frying are present in the room. - Portions more than limited in combos (meat and bananas) - The composition of the combos which does not represent African culinary art (green salad on the side + vinaigrette sauce, sautéed cabbage and carrots on the side, why?) - the quantity/price ratio - waiting time
The positive points: - The meat was well cooked but in more than limited quantity given the price - The bissap juice is excellent

I got the spicy half chicken combo with rice and plantains and it was utterly fantastic. The chicken was well seasoned and actually spicy, though if you ever want it hotter they sell little mason jars of chili paste as well. The side dishes were all good but the rice was my favourite.
I enjoyed it so much I might have it a second night in a row!
First time ordering I spent $60 on 2 meals asked him for no spice and it was actually so spicy that I couldnt even enjoy it or share with my baby. Chicken was well seasoned tho if you like spice and don’t wanna feel you’re mouth or taste the food. I also realized they used chicken from those Azn butcher shop with all the pieces and bones still attached that was disappointing as well.

BBQ chicken was phenomenal. Very juicy ,flavourful and charred to perfection. I had the salad on the side which was fresh and came with a ranch dressing.
