Saw the restaurant during the week and could smell delicious BBQ in the air. Told my family what we were going to have on Friday for dinner. Well Friday arrived and I ordered 3 BBQ chicken combos. It did not disappoint! True freshly home cooked meals. Spice was just right! Will definitely be back. Thank you for the great meal. Polite and friendly service!

I like this restaurant, the food is very good. The braised fish is very delicious, don't forget to order the shrimp skewers, a pure delight, there are also shrimp fritters also very good...Thank you Chef Lazare, you are a true chef.I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic food. If you’re looking for grilled food and tasty side dishes such as mixed rice, plantains this is the best spot in Ottawa.
Walked in to do a order. The person’s English was not very well. Very poor customer service. Have a son who’s anaphylactic to bananas and asked if they had a different fryer. Then myself with coeliac disease if they had A different fryer, and what foods were safe to eat. I ended up having the jerk chicken with rice with the plantain and my son just the jerk chicken with the rice. We both ended up with a bad allergic reaction. Never going to order from here again. Went in and told them what happened when I ordered from there and I was literally yelled at And miss treated by the staff. I do not recommend this place to anyone especially anyone with allergies as they are not aware of any allergies and don’t really care about their customers.

Horrible service ordered my food off the uber app for pick up when I arrived the old man refused to give me my food for no reason wasted my time. Luckily I was able to get food somewhere else down the street. I will never order there again. My household has ordered from there for year and due to their poor customer service we will stop

Went here a couple times and received horrible service , I have white boyfriend and Everytime he goes in to get my order he gets disrespected. Not to mention they messedUp my order and Lazar the owner toldMe that my boyfriend messed upMy order when we always order the same chicken combo. Definitely don’t recommend I hope they up their service because it’s the customers that are the reason they have a buisness.

Repeat customer, I decided to try something different and ordered the fried fish and plantain combo. When I received my order I was given fish head and plantain. I politely let them know I don’t eat fish head and if I knew “fried fish” meant fish head I would have never ordered it. They refused to correct the order and advised I could pay extra for grilled fish with no plantain.NEVER in my life have I order fried fish and only got the head, especially not for no $25 dollars, PER NONSENSE !!!

Visiting from Toronto this was my first stop as a recommendation from a friend. The food did not disappoint!I had the spicy shrimp combo, Highly recommend(only if you can handle spice) .
Food is amazing and portions are huge as well....But the restaurant has cancelled my order on THREE occasions an HOUR after order was received. This is unprofessional on many fronts as you left a family hungry without an explanation multiple times!
