I really enjoyed the croissants and pastries — I think they’re some of the best in Ottawa. However, the interior could use a bit of an update. For example, the wobbly table by the window near the couch needs fixing, and the carpet at the entrance seems to be over 20 years old — it would be nice to replace it. Got one salmon and one bacon egg sandwich from the cold fridge, one can pop and one small dessert, come to 40 bucks before tips, for that price, they could not even heat up the sandwich. Salmon one tastes good, the bacon one very blend, dessert is average, don’t know why they are so expensive.
Just for a casual morning coffee and breakfast as we lived in the hotel in the same block. Ordered one plain croissant and one almond chocolate croissant (which is a bit too sweet). Not impressed with the food though coffee and the space are good.
