As a regular diner at the 801 I have many fond memories of this small diner. But all those were shoved out the door when this rude white French man came up to us and kicked us out for no reason. His passive aggressive tone was very off putting and made me feel attacked. I do not recommend this place to me people who are looking for a safe place to sit down and have a good time. I just hope that this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I am very upset!

I am not happy at all with the service we received from the employees working at the restaurant. I was about to order a pepperoni pizza, because it’s so delicious but a minute before ordering my friends and I were demanded to leave the restaurant for no reason. ( the dude with the heavy French accent said that we must leave because other customers needed our spot, even tho when we left there was a lot of spots open and there were no customers waiting to be seated) I felt very offended by these actions, my friends and I are regular clients. We love the restaurant and the food, but we didn’t appreciate the way the waitress acted with us.

Hello dear bistro 801, i am very disappointed with the service today. The waiters are always kind and funny, sometimes handsome. But today we were told to leave to make room for their ao called customers, we obliged because we thought they were going ti be busy, but while we we’re walking out we noticed that there wasn’t any customers, unless the called customers were invisible. I felt threatened and scared, this level of ageisme should not be tolerated, the man who kicked us out was a new white man with a heavy french accent, that we have never seen before. He was kind at first but very quickly turned to violence, he demanded we leave to make room for the invisible clients. Very disappointed!
