I drove by this place a gazillion times but never thought to drop in and try it, thinking that it is very similar to the other popular shawarma places in Ottawa. I can't believe how mistaken I was; the beef shawarma reminded me of Lebanon: there was the authentic Lebanese flavour of cardamom and mastic, which I have not experienced in any other place across Ottawa and Gatineau.The other thing that blew me away is the fact that you will get the food (shawarma, rice, potatoes, humus and garlic dip) in a separate dish from the salad, and pickles). All other places give you a mishmash of everything in one dish.From now on, Shawarma means "Lebanese Palace" in Ottawa, for me.
Ive been all over the city and tried so many places. Let me tell you, this is by far the best tasting in the city. It has a beautiful smoked taste, they are so friendly each and every time. I mean you have to try it to believe me, lol. Best sandwiches in the city :)

This is the worst shawarama in ottawa. First of all, no customer service, rude lady at the counter. Then they served me stale chicken and potatoes, which tasted really bad. Food is below average. I won’t be going to this place ever. Really bad experience.

Mixed Experience at Lebanese PalaceI recently visited Lebanese Palace and had a mixed experience. The owner seemed quite rude when I wanted to change my order, which made me uncomfortable. The shawarma was just okay, nothing special—kind of dry. Overall, the service and food didn't meet my expectations.

Ordered a chicken plate, the food was excellent chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. Potatos were awesome.The service i received from the lady was excellent.Definitely recommend and going back.Very affordable prices that can't be found in other spots.
