What a fun place to have a special gal pal night out ! A friendly atmosphere with an our server who was so cheerful she made an already fun night out even more enjoyable! Food was great and we had the platter for two which I highly recommend for those of you who aren't overly hungry but love to nibble and have the chance to taste a variety of foods. Coffee and dessert just sweetened this special outing like a cherry on top of an already perfect summer sunday.

Very good service. Waiter was very nice and delivered impeccable service. The food was very delicious as usual. The only very minor downside is that it took about 30 minutes to arrive. Asides from that, this is still my favorite place to eat in Ottawa and I highly recommend it.

For a smokehouse that specializes in BBQ, the most basic elements of bbq ( pulled pork, sauces) were a fail. The pulled pork tasted like vinegar. The heirloom tomato salad was tasteless. It was just below average food and such a disappointment. Our waiter and the rest of he staff were very warm and friendly.

Food is always great, that's why we always go back but pray you aren't seated in the back. It's a horrible experience each time, it's so loud that it ruins your dinner. It's always the servers, combine with the point of sale system being located there and the kitchen entrance, so they congregate and naturally it's very loud. Sometimes depending on which servers are working, it's worse. It's a small place so I get it, they need to put people somewhere, so heed my warning if you are looking a quieter night out, just be sure to ask to be seated in the front, and it will be better. Otherwise, we always enjoy the food and we keep going back for that reason, even when they keep raising the prices every year, we keep going back.

Our entire night here was great. Everything we ate was delicious, but the favorite was definitely the chicken wings. They do the whole wing, not just the tips, and they were fall off the bone tender with nice crispy skin. Portions of everything, including the appetizers, were very generous, and the sauces that came with the meats were all super tasty and different. We ordered 2 appetizers and shared a bbq platter, and we were absolutely stuffed by the end. The cocktails were also great, with a really nice balance in the flavours combined with a creative twist. Our server was very knowledgeable and super pleasant, without being intrusive. Overall, we left feeling extremely satisfied, and we are still talking about those chicken wings to anyone who will listen! We will definitely be back.

The food was interesting, sufficient and well-seasoned and tasty. My wife had the duck, and I had the shrimp (huge!) The burnt brussels sprout caesar was something new for us and good. We enjoyed the wine, a good pairing suggested by the server. Service was prompt. We did find the ambience was very noisy so that we had to lean in to hear one another. The music background could be much quieter.

The banana french toast is not correctly described. Bananas are not carmelized. French Toast was cold. However, the server did replace our meals with another choice.

Lexington Smokehouse & Bar was a fantastic experience all around. The food was incredible. I have been here once before and have recommended this place to others and will definitely come back again. Service was great - a fine balance of attending to us and letting us actually socialize with our party. I do wish they would update their website as some of it is different than the menu on hand. But that is a very minute thing to change!
