I ordered a tempeh salad and received wet, uncooked, unseasoned tofu instead. When I called to try and see if I could walk over to exchange my meal, the employee answered the phone and just said “hello?”. Strange experience. For the price ( $20 salad) I expected much better.

Popped in for lunch and ended up having a lovely toastie with a bowl of yummy bean chilli. Just what I needed to warm up when it’s -8°C outside.

The curried chicken sandwich was perfect and surprisingly super fresh with freshly baked multigrain bread with crispy crust. I took away 3 stars for the ambiance. Definitely well visited by super snobby customers and served by stuck up staff. The manager sat across from me bragging about his trip to Miami and hardly acknowledging customers coming in. The vibe is cold and pretentious with wannabe euro hipsters. Who needs that in our community today? When you long fresh food with a warm much more welcoming feel just go across the street to the international bistros such as Ahora or the Byward market. That's where you can find the real deal for all! served by friendly welcoming staff and delicious international food.

Healthiest meal option in the ByWard Market. Excellent salads, coffee and snacks to go. Such a staple. Wine selection is also amazing and offers a conversation piece at every dinner party.

I’m a coffee girl. Like my coffee hot, however…. This was way too hot. Could hold the cup my the cardboard sleeve. Had to stop and open the cup up for it to cool down. Sorry folks. That was my experience.

I feel sad with my experience here. I ordered a latte but a hair was in my coffee… a young waitress was rude and didn’t want to change the coffee :(She seemed nice to other customers but not me.

Both the cappuccino and the iced matcha latte were some of the better ones we've had! I would totally go back for either and I'd love to try their Chai latte one day too.The establishment had a somewhat trendy vibe. In addition to their coffee and salads, they also sold wine by the bottle as well as health drinks and some snacks.
