Thank you for the great food, service and great atmosphere. This year we decided to have our work holiday lunch at Lone Star and we were NOT disappointed. Love me some squishy bread Fajitas!!!

Our meal at Lone Star was, unfortunately, a big disappointment. We ordered the Sunday special, but nothing really impressed us. The queso tasted more like a roux made with tomato soup than proper queso. The chicken fajitas were over cooked, cold and completely lacking in flavor. The cheese seemed to be the bagged kind with a white film on top.
The deep-fried ice cream was okay, but it couldn’t make up for the rest of the meal. This experience didn’t feel like the typical Lone Star quality we’ve come to expect.
On a positive note, the atmosphere was pleasant — a small crowd, soft music, and a comfortable setting.
A special shoutout to our server, Blue Eyes, who was very friendly and attentive throughout the meal.
Save your $100.00 and go to Taco Bell for way better fajitas for a fraction of the price.

Firstly we did not get the drink menu. Seats were really dirty (had nachos sticking on it) & then Portion size was too small. Later on we re-ordered the pop which we did not get & waitress came to pickup the plates. We had to tell her again to bring the pop.. I think Chucks is way better…overall felt like people do not wanna work there. Wings were really bad. Way too expensive. I wish i could have checked the reviews & rating before stepping in.

We had an AMAZING! Server, never caught her name but this BEAUTIFUL red headed girl who was so happy and made the whole experience amazing, such a happy woman with such an amazing personality and could hold conversations so well. A raise is definitely needed- from Mavis and Johnny oct 25!!

We went as a family of 4. Small portions for the price, no chips and salsa served before meal. Fajitas for 2 shared between an adult and child was barely enough for one person, guacamole is extra... not good value for money.

My first time at a Lone Star, and I was not impressed. The service was terrible. We did not receive any cutlery until almost 10mins after our food was served to us, and by the time we started eating the food was cold.

Our server was excellent. The food (fajitas) was delicious and good atmosphere. It was a slow rainy day and a late lunch so it was difficult to say much about the atmosphere. It was a great experience anyway. Ill be back the next time I'm in Ottawa.
I would like to thank the staff at the Ottawa George Street location. Staff was more than caring. Just after our order was brought to us, my husband told me he wasn't feeling well. He was having chest pain, he does have a heart condition. He took a shot of nitro, still pain was about a 10 out of 10. I went up to the bar, talked to a staff member. Asked if he would please call 911. All staff on last evening, September 16 were excellent. They told us they called, then came back an gave us an update as to how long before ambulance would arrive. Someone continued to check with us until the paramedics arrived. We are visiting from Nova Scotia, and do not know anyone in Ottawa. I wish I could remember names, so we could thank them personally. My husband is doing fine.

The food was not good and the total cost for two appetizers and two drinks was ridiculous. Very disappointing meal for a well known restaurant. Would not recommend this place and will not return.

I love visiting this location when I come to Ottawa for the style of restaurant. It is very casual and inviting. The food and drinks were great. Our server was very kind and efficient.
Our ribs were forgotten at the time of our food being served so we opted to get them to go when we mentioned it. Other than that it was a good experience. I recommend checking the place out!

Worst Lone Star Ever!! Poor service, chairs and tables not cleaned, kitchen is a disaster with waiters sitting on the counters where they prep food!!! No manager on site, all employees average 20years old and not very experienced
