Elie's The Original Lorenzo's Pizza

Went looking for nostalgia and found it right here. Not only was the food great but the staff were also super friendly. If you’re looking for a mom and pop old school feel with equally great food this is the place for you.

I was treated really nicely. Grabbed the donair special. I took it to go so it did get a little cold on the way. But just not the same as I am used to back in Halifax. The sandwich was long like a sub style and lettuce was on it.

Very mild sauce. More like ranch dressing. Not enough onion or tomato and the meat was really sparse. Anyway I really like crispy meat and spicy flavors but this was soggy and bland. Anyway I know what I like and this was more gyro or Sharma style.

Maybe I will try the pizza sometime since they are pretty close to me but just not the right one for me. I am better off sticking to the place I know do it my way.

Great pizza and friendly service. They do delivery directly - much better than using a third party delivery. I prefer giving a bigger tip and not outing a delivery fee etc. they do extra thin crust if you ask.

Over 30 years ordering from Lorenzo, last 5 years have not be good, today ordered a meatball sub and the bun was burnt , wife said cut off the black parts but the burnt taste is still there, New owners as Elie went back to retirement so I won't be ordering again, either my order is wrong or this time a burnt bun on my sub.

Decided to try this place this Friday night and it was great. It's a thick style pizza. Cooked just right and the crust was still very crispy even though I ordered a lot of toppings. If you like a thicker style pizza you'll love it. The guys running the joint were pretty cool too.
Edit: we went a second time recently and it was spot on. It my new favourite takeout pizza place.

It was one of the only options within walking distance of the Hampton Inn. The pizza was a pleasant surprise. We'll worth the walk.

Was looking for a pizza place to order takeout as just visiting town and selected Elie's. It was delivered on time and super hot! But was best pizza we've had. The extra cheese layer was thicker than the crust. It was awesome!

The food was so tasty and big portions.

Since the ORIGINAL OWNER ELIE is back the pizza is BACK to being the best!!! Hands down the best 💯
The price I paid for a medium with two drinks is a good price!
