This is a great restaurant, we were very happy with our order. The General Tao chicken was delicious and just the right amount of spice (ie: not very) and used the lean chicken breast so it was not as fatty as others I've had elsewhere. The shrimp low mein was tasty and delicious, noodles perfectly al-dente and generous on the shrimp. And the chicken fried rice was also a generous amount, and had bits of chicken breast in it. Not greasy at all, everything was tasty. We highly recommend it!

I've tried (and reviewed) lot's of Chinese restaurants and I have to honestly say that Lucky Key has to be the best Chinese restaurant in the city. I mainly order the Singapore Vermicelli, which I have to say is definitely the best I've had out of all 20 or so Chinese restaurants I've tried, the Soo Guy is also always super fresh and moist (not dry and overcooked. Definitely huge 5 stars, and the staff are the nicest people ever (except for the daughter at the front cash who I think would rather be doing something else ?)

I had an $81.00 carry out order w a dozen open ended egg rolls (half of which were closed ended- not right). The closed ended ones they substituted w/o telling me were dripping in oil and hard and horrible. Almond guy ding w mushy celery and 4 stale almonds, garlic spare ribs that were over done w a funny taste and greasy sauce, lemon chicken was dry small pieces w zero sauce. WARNING - check your order before you leave, there seems to be no quality control here. Lucky Key, Is this your business model? to not have repeat customers?

There's barely any egg in the Chicken egg Foo young. Is that not the main ingredient!! Egg rolls are overcooked and hard.

This Chinese restaurant was close to home so we ordered from them off a whim. Our food ended up being the freshest and tastiest that we have ever tried in Ottawa. For such a small restaurant we were shocked at how high quality the food was. Not only that but we have plenty of leftovers since they packed so many extra egg rolls. If you’re hesitating ordering here, don’t! We were not disappointed.
