We would like to say Thank you to Lunergans and the dart players from last night's drop in dart tourney! We had a great time...great food, great people and lots of laughs... and a few bucks we're taken home :) When we visit Ottawa again...we will be back to enjoy your company once more... One of my favorite local neighborhood pubs. The owners are extremely friendly and hospitable and the staff are great. It's a small, cozy, homey pub with lots of dart boards and regular tournaments. They often host special events, card tournaments, live music, karaoke, silent auctions, and fundraisers. They are very connected to the local community. Food is decent and well-priced. The crowd is easygoing and friendly, mostly middle-aged so no crazy drama or bar fights. Great place to grab a few drinks and a bite to eat after work, or rent the space for a private party.

We've been going there once a week for breakfast for a few weeks now. The beans that come with the breakfast are amazing. Very good bacon and eggs. We tried their wings for the first time last night and they were absolutely delicious. This will be our new wing place. Diane is also a very good host.

I may have found our new Fish and Chips place. This little pub is located on Montreal rd, just past Blair rd. Blink and you'll miss it! They are tucked in the corner of a small plaza, at 1661 Montreal rd. Lunergans Pud & Eatery has been open since the 1970's so they must have an amazing list of loyal regulars. It has a very homie feeling, a beautiful old wood bar, open mic nights and have a darts section. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and they accept reservations for events and parties! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, the staff were so nice and they are very proud of the food they serve, that she told me I will not be disappointed with anything I picked. Now on to the food! I have been on the hunt for the best fish and chips place since our favourite location closed. You have the option of 1 or 2 pieces with a load of chips and a side of coleslaw. Under 20$ for 2 pieces, is a great deal! The fish was light and the coating was crunchy, and the chips were delicous with loads of salt and malt vinegar. Unpretentious pub with good food at fair prices. I had an excellent breakfast here and felt very welcome by the staff. They even went the extra mile and offered pencils and a coloring book to my daughter. Highly recommended and will be back!

Lunergans is a great little gem. The food is very good and you get excellent service. If you like to play euchre, cribbage or darts you must check this pub out. It's a wonderful place to go to have a good time.

Recently had lunch with wife, she had the nacho with cheese and salsa and I had the bacon cheeseburger platter. Was very good and we also received very nice service.

Local pub, great prices, great bar food, great atmosphere. The staff were very accommodating for our impromptu group of 12 despite it being close to closing (our mistake). A little cramped, the room is made for darts so when there are games playing, the table seating is limited. Would have liked more vegetarian options.
