The menus did not explain the pricing properly. We were given two menus with the pricing not clear, and the food was almost cold. We were disappointed in the meal for the price we paid. I could go on.

Really excellent food quality and presentation. We chose the winter three-course menu, and I loved everything we ordered. I made the reservation five days in advance, but we were seated in a less interesting hall on the upper floor. The service could also be slightly improved, with servers checking on guests more frequently. That said, the overall experience was very good.
Great evening at the Luxe. Lamb shank was to die for. Yummy cocktails and a good wine list. What more could you want?. And yes, the service was great, too.

First time visit. Charming, warm space with lots of dark wood, mirrors and low lighting. Music not loud enough to interfere with conversation. All of the three-course meal food we had was excellent, as was our waiter, Luke. Lots of menu options and fairly priced. We will return. Recommend highly.

We live nearby, and had been planning to check out Luxe. We definitely will return. Our server Demian warmly greeted us and seated us in one of many comfortable booths. Good atmosphere with seating for singles, couples and groups. Wine by the glass is good, with a wide selection. We had Happy Hour steak frites, squid and sliders, all excellent and good values. Demian timed everything perfectly, very attentive. See you again soon!

I made a reservation to have an early dinner here on a Sunday. We were seated quickly, and our orders were taken shortly after. It took a bit of time to get what we ordered but the quality of the food made up for the wait! The staff was very friendly.

Visited Luxe for the first time after a skate on the canal. There were 4 in our party and we all ordered from the Winter Warm Up pre fixe menu. The food was abundant and delicious and very well priced. Only downside to the evening was we wanted to order the $30 bottle of red house wine but was told they were sold out and they were not willing to replace it with another bottle. The price for the other bottles of wine began at $60 😔

This place is fantastic.
Reasonable prices for superior food.
We had the price fix menu for one person and a sandwich.
My wife got the winter pre-fixe, Roast beet salad, Duck Leg Confit and vanilla crème brûlée.
Every bite of each course was delicious and didn’t disappoint.
I had a special, a short rib sandwich with fries and truffle aioli. De-licious.
Our host, Sean, made sure to make everything memorable and ensured that we would be back.
Thanks Sean and see you again soon!!

We ate a late lunch here today. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We ordered from the special Winterlude Menu. I had the duck confit, it was one of the best I've ever had. It came with a beet salad with warm goat cheese, mmmm. All the flavors were happy together. The creme brulee did not disappoint. Also our server Sean took very good care of us. I highly recommend this restaurant for an excellent dining experience.

Ive wanted to go to this restaurant for years. Finally made it here. I highly recommend this little bistro.
We were warmly greeted and sat immediately. The atmosphere is low lighting, copy, inviting, and romantic. Comfy chairs and booths. Room for 2 or up to ten people.
The service was wonderful. They are professional, kind, helpful, and accommodating. We had 3 employees tend to us through the night removing dishes, bringing food, taking additional drink orders. We didn't want for anything.
The food was great. We came in around 4-430 during happy hour. Drinks and appetizers were large portions and very good. I ordered some oysters from PEI and my friend ordered the muscles. The cream sauce was flavorful. Not one muscle was bad.
They had a winter warmup special. There are 4 appetizers choices, 4 entree choices, and 2 desserts.
I attached the beet salad photo. The goat cheese balls melted in your mouth. The candied pecan were not too sweat or heavily coated. The salad had just the right mixture of crunch, saltiness, and sweetness.
The lamb fell off the bone. No knife needed. The duck was delicious. I have no complaints. There is a lot of food. Different textures and flavors. Everything tasted like it was fresh off the farm.
The dessert we both chose was the creme brule. The portions were large. The creme was perfectly flavored. The sugar topping was slightly burnt but still very good.
We ordered a couple of cappuccino's. That was the only thing that was not consistent. One came out perfect, full, the white swirl in the middle. The other was not filled up and the foam looked just carelessly put on top.
I recommend a reservation if you show up any day of the week around 5pm onwards or there will be a wait. We watched the place fill up very quickly.
There is a parking structure right across the street and one block east on the Clarence. Reasonable pricing for parking. Easy to get to the restaurant in under 2 minutes.
I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be back for a date night in the near future.

One of the best happy hours in the Byward Market. Everything was delicious. I especially loved the sliders, mushroom toasts and calamari.
