My spouse and I we try this restaurant a couple times, there is been always a great food and service.
Unfortunately this time it wasn’t the case, Yesterday we decided to bring my parents that came from Spain to visit us. They speak broken English, so I was mostly the one communicating with the server. He was really dismissive and rude.
When we were ordering his actitud towards me or my family was condescending. We wanted to order more drinks but every time he came to drop some food he will just sat the plate and then he will run away. He didn’t check on us, when we finish our food we were asked if we wanted the bill right away without asking if we wanted a coffee or dessert. We asked for coffees but it was delivered without the condiments as such sugar, we asked for it and after 5-8 minutes of waiting my spouse has to go to him and asked again because he will not came to check on us, again. When we received our check they added a plate that we didn’t order, when I looked around I saw him whispering towards a coworker meanwhile looking at us and laughing. I approached to them to asked them about it and then he raised his voice to apologize and flew again.
We felt rushed, unwelcome and probably we will not come back again.
My recommendation is that if you are visiting Ottawa by yourself or with your family try to avoid this restaurant.
If you are also a Queer/transgender person avoid this location too.
We would be treated better at the Rideau center fast food restaurant food court.

For the prices they are charging the food should be allot better. Caeser salad was tiny very bland. Cocktail shrimp had 5 PF shrimp the scallop pasta embarassing the cheese cake and the cappuchino was good. Smash burger was not a smash burger. Group of 10 people everyone was disappointed by the food. Almost 100 dollars a person

Went there at brunch time. Good views and service was good. Ordered a steak and fries as that was what I was craving. Steak was more medium than medium rare which is why the 4 star. Sauce was good, fries and steak were also nice.

I was super excited to go here, but was extremely disappointed. Their steak is ridiculously chewy, rendering it almost inedible. Their appetizers were decent but definitely not worth the price. Lastly, their service was very poor as well. I would not recommend this place.

The tangy-sweet apple compote paired beautifully with the savory smoked duck leg — though not deboned, the meat was tender and flavorful. The crisp braised red cabbage added a refreshing crunch, rounding out the dish with layered textures. Ottawa’s top three duck confit!!

Breakfast was great! Dinner not as much, tomahok steak wasn't medium rare but was dead rare and chewy, ratatouille was bad!!! Service was outstanding!!!
We were here on a busy Friday. Everything took a bit of time to get out but it was all good and our server Luke was great. Kids really enjoyed the squid and burgers.

Honestly, our server ruined the whole meal. We have had her a few times. She looks like she still living in the head bang era of the 90's The issue was she was rude and rushing us again. Think her name is Lynda. We knew what we wanted and when we asked questions she was clearly annoyed. Won't be back. The food is pretty good but bad service is a hard no for me. This is for the Orleans location. Won't let me post there.
