Malabar House Indian takeout

I am the kind of reviewer who usually avoids giving negative feedback, but this place honestly deserves zero stars. Absolute trash. I tried the poori masala, which is a basic dish, and I ended up getting food poisoning. It took me four days just to start feeling better—still not completely recovered.

I ordered the food through DoorDash and nothing was done about it. If anyone is reading this, please avoid ordering from this place. Do not risk your health.

The food is really a hit and a miss here . I had had an amazing biryani two weeks ago or so which lead me to having their biryani again , and i bought a tray .However today’s was very bad the egg in the biryani was old and was all dark and the chicken and masala were not that good at all. Had to thrownall the food away

Today is Onam celebration and we ordered two special Sadhya for Onam . They had perfect portions and extra payasam (desserts) and brought back childhood memories . Thank you Malabar house for this . Overall the sadhya in my opinion is a 5/5 . We did as take out and they had provided the paper banana leaf

I had ordered Onam Sadhya for tomorrow, but they entered the wrong date. When they called me for pickup today, I explained that my order was for tomorrow since I have work today. Instead of handling it politely, the response was very rude. I was told to pick it up today as they demanded, and only if they had for tomorrow, they would give it then. This is not the kind of service I expected, especially from our native people. Truly disappointing experience.

The food was exceptional—fresh and flavorful. Guests especially loved the [roasted chicken & vegetable korma] which received compliments all night. Portion sizes were generous as well. Overall, Mr. Tommy delivered a stress-free catering experience that exceeded expectations.

I've ordered butter paneer and chapati from Uber. Food was completely stale. Paneer was too hard and color was also pale. Gravy was stinky. Chapatis are not cooked and even some odd smell. Just took one bite and puke it. Complained to u er and they refunded me right away.

Worst worst worst food ever. If you do worry about your health then avoid this stupid restaurant.
