A small spot, but everything here is impressively well organized and thoughtfully run. The coffee is genuinely good, and the food feels fresh and intentional. The staff are super friendly — the kind of warm, genuine service that makes the place memorable.

I was at a nearby hotel and wanted a local spot for breakfast. This friendly, healthy, fresh spot was open on Family Day holiday and it attracted a lot of workers who found their normal spots closed. My egg avocado bacon sandwich w slightly spicy mayo was yummy but the sweet potato veggie Vegan soup was super super! I recommend the espresso coffees (they have dark filter coffee, but I prefer much stronger). The two men running the place are very nice and helpful. I enjoyed the small counter seating area facing the windows (can fit 3-4 people).

Such a cute coffee corner! I couldn't choose between a coffee and a hot chocolate. I ended up with an oat mocha with their chocolate syrup (which they make themselves) and a bit of whipped cream - so good! We had a lovely chat, mainly about coffee and crafts, and the whole vibe of the place just made my good day even better. Tomorrow is my last day visiting Ottawa and I already look forward stopping by again (and maybe try some food) before I leave! Update: had another wonderful oat mocha and tried their new The Difference Grilled Cheese - absolutely yummy! Thank you for making my Ottawa visit extra awesome :-)

Love MCC! i work on Laurier few days a week and love going there for coffee and especially their croissants (they can probably guess who this is since i never change my order). The staff are absolutely welcoming and friendly. I can only hope this company grows even more. Definitely recommended!

Absolutely amazing! Sandwiches are DELICIOUS and the coffee is so TASTY! They told me they make all their syrups in house and I was blown away by how good they are. They also put one big ice cube in their drinks so it doesn’t melt fast and water down your drink, it’s perfect!!

I had a great experience at this small coffee shop. I sat outside and really enjoyed the high-quality coffee — smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. The beans taste fresh, and every cup feels crafted, not rushed. The food was just as good, well-prepared and flavorful. You can tell they focus on quality in everything they serve. Definitely a place I’d come back to for a consistently good cup of coffee.
