The owners at MCC never fail to improve my workdays! MCC is my go-to coffee spot in the area because they have something that sets them apart from the rest: genuine love for their customers. I always feel so welcomed and my heart warms knowing they've tried their best to ensure you leave happy. There is a sense of respect and kindness among the team! Of course, the food and coffee are consistently delicious and they're willing to make any adjustments to your liking! The main brew is from Cloud Forest Cafe which is my favourite to use at home and one of the best beans that Ottawa has to offer (I do not purchase coffee often as I have an espresso machine at home that I use daily, but when I need good coffee, MCC is conveniently the perfect place for me). I truly cannot express how much I love this local spot!

MCC is an Oasis in the grey downtown scene. Truly a place you feel welcomed while receiving the efficient service necessary for the busy downtown core.
Stopped for a Cortado because their sign said 'support local' and found out we were from the same small town! Craig is an amazing owner and I can't wait to find a reason to visit again.
If you want small town hospitality with efficient, friendly service and delicious options, you need look no further than MCC

Best coffee in downtown Ottawa! (And as an Australian I'm a bit of a coffee snob) The brothers who own this place really know their coffee, and their grilled cheese options are phenomenal
Now it's summer, there's a cute little patio of sorts out the front. The view of Laurier street is nothing to write home about unless you like brutalist architecture, but get yourself a book from the library (right opposite) and you have yourself a great little lunch or breakfast spot.

This is literally the best coffee and breakfast pastry spot downtown by far… their iced coffee (get it with chocolate sauce) is incredible. Also they make their muffins in house which are also amazing. The best part is the owners are so nice it brightens your day just going. Oh I almost forgot they have wicked iced teas as well
