One of the best tasting gelatos I’ve ever had. You get 2 flavours per scoop with a standard small cup being around $8. So a bit more expensive than the norm. They have a mix of traditional flavours (hazelnut, vanilla etc.) as well as fruity flavours ( mango, mixed berry etc.). I got the kingdom of 2 Sicilies and the chocolate which were both rich and complemented each other well.
They have a quaint and large sitting area.
Only docking them 1* because they don’t do samples which almost every other gelato place does do. Also, the specific store associate attending to me was pretty curt and snippy with me when I asked about sampling and what was in one of the flavours (called kingdom of 2 Sicilies). So not great customer service from her but not going to hold her bad attitude against the store or the other associates.

This place used to be my one of the favorite spots for gelato in Ottawa. Lately, I got a chance to visit from toronto with family. I come from sikh family and men wear turban. I insisted everyone to try this place. As soon as we entered the place, the owner and server were giving a different look as if they were unpleased with our group. I felt it was pure racist look. We got 10 medium gelatos from them costing more than 100$. Honestly, being part of food industry, you need to show hospitality to each and every customer irrespective of their color and faith. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen here. Please do not repeat this behaviour with anyone else!

We were bunch of friends, boys and girls The owner got close to women and talked to them very closely, that was like he didn't care we as men even existed. I didn't like that and I told to bunch of my friends to be away from this old man. Even girls were unhappy with that manner of customer service. It looks like he is looking for girls! Not money And the Ice cream was very expensive and tastes same as the cheaper ice creams

Ordered two medium cups and a latte. One cup was strawberry and hazelnut, the other coconut and kingdom of two sicilies.
All very good, still best gelato in Ottwa, in fact their strawberry is better than the ones we tried in Genoa Italy!
It's out tradition to go there every Canada Day!

THE best gelato I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried many)! The taste and creaminess are like no other. The desserts and coffee are a must try as well! The interior is elegant, clean and staff are always friendly and professional! Just like every top notch European cafe, where the expectation and standards are high from the smallest to biggest detail! Love the Italian radio they play! Love to sit by the window and pretend I’m eating gelato in Italia.

Coming from Dubai, the first place to visit when I land in Ottawa is Mantovani. The taste of the Italian coffee, gelato and pastry cannot be described. It is beyond expectations. Really a cool place to enjoy your time with your beloved one. Thank You for your hospitality.
