Best Gelato I’ve EVER had in Canada. I’ve been to Italy three times and this place was even better then some of the gelato I had there! The chocolate and strawberry are absolutely amazing!!

The blueberry lemon cake was ordinary, the tiramisu was delicious. It was so expensive. Cappuccino was good, I liked the vanilla lavender latte but it was just a tea bag. Next time, I’d like to try Gelato.

We had the best gelato in Canada if not in the world! What an amazing place, great service and staff. James and everyone at Mantovani’s were wonderful and recommended great flavors of gelato to try. We tried the pistachios, hazelnut, rosewater and Cherry and omg they are all amazing. This place is saved on my top list spots i. Ottawa and definitely coming back for more! ❤️?

This place has a no tablets, no laptop policy. It deserves to. It's a sin to stare at a screen in such a beautiful shop. The Gelato is better than anywhere else in Ottawa.

Not a typical coffee shop in ottawa! very nice and elegant. Pricey though! and have rules of no laptops allowed. Their carrot cake is so good

We wanted to try this place because of the good reviews. Sadly it was over priced and their was 4 women working and they were all hovering over me and my husband to try to order. We barely got a chance to look at the flavours and we were the only people in line . I also found the gelato to be overly sweet.

ALWAYS go Mantovani 1946 when visiting Ottawa. Their gelato, affogato, pastries, and cookies are absolutely delicious. Service is always excellent, the atmosphere pleasant and relaxing. Wish we lived closer.

The best Italian cafe in Ottawa! The rose flavored Panna Cotta was so delicious and Americano was top of the world! I drive 40 kms (one way) every week to have their Americano!

Just came across this gem of a place in Ottawa. Sublime taste of gelato and their coffee too. Never had gelato this tasty ever before. Highly recommend the rose water flavor. The owners are also very sweet and kind.

Very good gelato (although very pricey, 20$ for what’s pictured).No laptop or tablets allowed (which is fine) but more disappointed with the not so welcoming staff at check out and the fact that you cannot sample any of the gelato..
